I found this... Well, it's a long story. First, I found the WAH. There, I found shiny gold. So I joined the WAH forum (SP) to be informed about the hack development. There, zel was always talking about pokecommunity and saying that that page was more updated, so I decided to join here.

EDIT: Really, I think you should add a fifth option: "Because of a hack".

I had first heard of PC by word of mouth on another forum. After performing some initial reconnaissance as a guest, I decided to sit on it for a few months before finally deciding to join.

Well, I think I know of PC's existance since a lot of time ago. Since the time of Gold hacking being pretty popular among the rom hackers (Would that be like how many...? 3/4 years?)
I don't quite remember but I think I joined with another account, and got interested in GBC hacking, but after a while, I got frustrated and lost my interest on hacking and on PC as well.

...That, till I, somehow, found myself searching for hacks (specially Gold Remakes), and ended up here once again. So, remembering those days, I joined again without doubt. This time I was decided on being a bit more active at PC (it took me a while, lol)

And that's my story.

A friend showed it to me. The first time, it was a club, and I was like "what's this forum??" Ah, I still remember looking at it and going "what a strange looking forum." (I came from SPPF.) I joined because I wanted to, or something like that. o_O

I first came to SPPF but at times, it barely loads and if it does, you wait half a year just to log in. It was damn slow.

One of my friends told me about PokeCommunity and this place really beats the crap out of SPPF.

I joined a site before, Serebii forums and there was a time it was down for a long time. And I was still obsessed with Pokemon, so I went crazy without going onto that forum. I just felt like googling Pokemon ralated forums to find some other way into Serebii froums, and I found this one. I liked it a lot but apparently, the night I joined it, it had a virus. So I stayed away for awhile. But eventually, it got better so I'm on more. :3 I changed my name when I came here too. On Serebii forums, I was Super Gullwing, so when I decided to use a different username. At first, I was Hyper Gullwing [what the heeeeck.] and then I changed it. =D

Seems like a lot of people found PC because of the ROM Hacking section. o.o I don't think SPPF and PE2K have ROM Hacking sections, so that's probably a big factor. It makes PC the best/biggest community for it.
