Steelix isn't the best Stealth-Shuffler around.

I would agree, but at least he can take a few hits. Is the macho brace to add to gyro ball's power?

Macho Brace Halves speed, so yes.

So..my team works? No huge holes? o.o thx for the milotic spread.
Anti

Three of your pokemon are weak to fight attacks. Otherwise, I see no holes.

Crap. Electivire/Heracross weakness >.< Maybe Swampert instead of T-tar :/
Anti
August 16th, 2007, 03:57 AM
That makes sense. Steelix can counter electivire though. It can easily take a few EQs, and STABed EQ itself would 2HKO vire probably.

August 16th, 2007, 04:03 AM
Bleh, at least it only took me 2 eggs to get a female charmander >_> And, I dont like having only 1 counter for stuff. Unless the counter is extremely hard to kill XD (Blissey vs all the special sweepers. Blissey wins >_>)

A good IVed and EVed Garchomp will have a party on this team.
Garchomp - Outrage
Lucario - Earthquake/Fire Blast
Steelix - Earthquake/Fire blast
Tyranitar - Earthquake
Alakazam - low defense/Crunch
Shiraishi
August 16th, 2007, 03:54 PM
Which is why I'm gettin Swampert..who has avalanche..
Kayashi
August 16th, 2007, 08:24 PM
And you still have a dent for Garchomp. though
Shiraishi
August 19th, 2007, 02:52 AM
Most physical walls have a dent for fire blast so I can't really fix that..and I have Starmie as a sub :x

I went to victory road and caught a steelix with maxed HP IVs and 0 Attack IVs. I might use him..I dont have a relaxed ditto D:

Milotic EV spread:
252 Defense, 200 HP, 58 Special Attack
Adding anymore EVs to its Sp. Def is silly. Milotic is less durable this generation so she needs all the defense she can get. She does need a little firepower boost so take some of it out of HP.

I'm wondering, why do ppl buff up Miltoc's def so much?o.o She more of a special wall :/ With my togekiss, he can take a physical att but I'd rather switch out for forretress :/

If you are then only have Earthquake and/or Gyro Ball for stab purposes. It will treat as a better wall and Roarer.

Milotic is a great counter in a variety of situations. With the extra defense and HP she can switch in and take a hit moderately and counterattack or force a switch next turn. She scares Tyranitar, Garchomp and Salamence just to name a few. She can stop many threats with Hypnosis. Though she is suited as a special sponge she is an awesome counter to physical sweepers.
Without the defense buff Milotic's durability is reduced.

Ah, Milotic scares my Gyarados alot...

Hrm :/ Without the Sp def she just might get 2 hit KOd with a STABd Thunderbolt..which would really suck for a special wall X.x

Considering most water Pokemon can't even take a Thunderbolt I say Milotic is still fine. Why would you even let Milotic grace the field with an electric type anyways?

I send my togekiss against sweepers with t-bolt :/ Togekiss usually wins :o

Overall, a great team. Now, I'm not a professional at this but this is my opinion.

LugiaLord, why use thunderbolt on a ohysical TTar? Makes no sense...I'd definately use Gyro Ball over Stone Edge. TTar has it anyways. Gyro Ball does LOTS of damage with a relaxed nature. Really, the team looks pretty good. The important roles are covered. However, there is a ground weakness. Since EQ is one of the most popular attacks in the game, maybe reflect or something like that is in order.

Hrm, should Lucario be replaced then? It would be kewl to have some old team members with the new ones XD And I can always trade off my Larvitars >.>

Lugialord is more of a 3rd gen player. But he knows a good amount of the game. Though. Thunder Fang would work well.

I know, his team I rated this morning was pretty darn good. I'm not fond of the elemental fangs, but if it would work, I'd use it.

That funny. I didn't knew Tyranitar could learn Gyro Ball. =/
I was referring Thunder Fang for Tyranitar in case of the Steel Bird.
