Need help rounding out my team - need some help

Okay, at this point I ave the following team: Gengar (Special Sweeper), Infernape (Physical Sweeper), Tyranitar (Tank), Scizor (Supporter), and Milotic (Special Wall). What I need for my final Pokemon is a Defensive Wall, and more importantly a Psychic one (or at least one that can learn Psychic) since I don't have anything to handle Fighting types in general (nothing Pyschic). I'm looking at Slowbro and Bronzong. Bronzong is okay, but I already have a Steel type so I'm a bit Weary. I'm more inclined to use Slowbro, but not sure yet. Both are good, but neither have REALLY impressive Defense stats. I thought about Dragonite since he can be a wall AND a tank of either kind, but he doesn't learn Psychic, although I suppose I could get away with using him if I had to. Not sure though. Thpought about Skarmory as well, but, well... you see my problem. Looking for some insight on the Pokemon and maybe the moveset as well for whatever I use. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Well, a lot of psychic types can learn Reflect and psychic to raise defense. Hypno can learn barrier and reflect, as well as psychic. He is mean to be a special wall though. I recommend using slowbro honestly. I believe it can learn slack off, not to mention calm mind and amnesia.

Right now I'm looking at a Psychic/Surf/Slack Off/??? moveset on Slowbro should I use him.

Metagross? Another good Wall/Tanker. But again, is two steel types in one party a good idea?

Looking at your team, two pokemon are already weak to ground, so I wouldn't use metagross.

I guess maybe Slowbro is my guy. It just sucks that even EV trained and with good IVs, his Defense isn't quite "amazing."

Yes, Slowbro can learn Curse. Wouldn't I be better off with a status effect like Toxic, though?

Definately have slack off. I'm bad with 4th gen, so somebady else will havo help you there.

True, but that's mainly in status conditions, and my Milotic HAS Rest, so no reason to train it much in the Defense Department.

Yeah, I think I'm gonna end up using Slowbro. Now I have to figure out his EV spread. So for now I'm thinking Slack Off/Toxic/Psychic/Surf.

I like Burn Orb/Recover/Hypnosis over Rest.

I prefer rest. I like Hypnosis, but I don't feel it's necessary since Milotic is a wall. And Rest also helps with Defense.

That moveset looks good. I'm still thinking about Toxic, though O_O

Are you kidding about Bronzong not having amazing defenses? Lol. Slowbro has some amazing defenses too. Especially when you put it's HP into the mix. Slowbro takes plenty of hits before being taken down.

A base of 116 in both defensives is above average but isn't that great. and it is shortened by a minimal HP stat.

Are you kidding about Bronzong not having amazing defenses? Lol. Slowbro has some amazing defenses too. Especially when you put it's HP into the mix. Slowbro takes plenty of hits before being taken down.

Surf/Ice Beam either one is okay. But I'd probably go with Surf for now seeing as I already have 2 Pokemon with Ice moves (T-Tar with Ice Fang and Milotic with Ice Beam).

Ahaha. Base 116 is above average? You act like 116 isn't impressive. Bronzong is rarely even 2hkoed. Especially since Bronzong only has 1 weakness, I'm pretty sure 116 in BOTH defenses is pretty amazing.

I honestly don't see why. Milotic is my Special wall, I mean for Slowbro to be my Defensive wall, so I so no reason to put EVs into his Special Defense, just as I see no reason to put EVs into Milotic's Defense.

I suppose that's true, but without the extra EVs in Defense, it becomes a fairly weaker wall, especially without EVs in HP.
