Would this be a good team?

Would a team of Piplup, Chimchar and Turtwig be a good enough team to cover all the types? My friend is doing various trades with me so I get all three starters, but I want to know if it would be worth it? Would getting a Starly and/or Shinx help the team cover all weaknesses to?

It doesnt always matter on Type weaknesses, you gotta look at the Pokemon's stats as well and plan them on how to use them to cover each other's weaknesses, just because you have all the "Amazing" starters does not mean itll give you even an almost guaranteed victory

A Staraptor could kill all of those starters in battle.Maybe just only use 1 or different pokemons.

That's why I said that if I raise a Shinx, that could counter flying types.

The other person will switch out as well dude.Who will be the idoit to leave a Staraptor with a Luxray.My point is that they have to many weaknesses

I recommend building a team around defense to start. Emploeon isn't very good. I'd also get rid of infernape or torterra, but that's just me.
