Jessies' Sinnoh Pokemon? Ash and Hippopotas?

Jessie from Team Rocket, she usually catches a new Pokemon in every generation along with the the rest of the main cast of characters right? Arbok and Lickitung from Generation 1, Wobbuffet from Generation 2, Dustox and Seviper from the third Generation. (Not forgetting other Pokemon like Shellder.

Jessie seems to have a special preference for snake-like Pokémon, owning both an Arbok and a Seviper. In The Ninja Poké Showdown, she expressed a preference for Poison-type Pokémon in general.

So if/when she catches a Pokemon what do you think it would be, I think she needs a new battling Pokemon personally, I just don't like her Seviper. The only new part Poison type Pokemon are Stunky, Skuntank, Budew, Roserade, Skorupi, Drapion, Toxicroak and Croagunk.

Budew and Roserade, It's just no, mainly because of Drew and they just aren't right for Jessie (Even though she is a coordinator (of sorts)) Craogunk is owned by Brock and hates Jessie because she abandoned it. So it's out of Skorupi and Stunky if she goes for a Poison-type.

Oh and does anybody think Ash will capture the Hippopotas in the upcoming Japanese episode?

Ash's Team normally (in the main arcs) follows this line up: Pikachu, a Flying type, a Grass type, a Water type, a Fire type and then a random Pokemon.

He already has Aipom as a 'random' Pokemon but some fans believe that Dawn will trade Buizel for Ashs' Aipom because of Buizel's love for battling and Aipom's love for Contests, plus Dawn already has a water type (Piplup). However unlikely this would give Ash will get his Water type too. Discuss.

Well I don't think that Jessie will get a Skuntank since in a future episode we will see an officer Jenny use a Stunky so now it has been branded an Officer Jenny pokemon and so maybe will Skuntank too or at least it would be use for Team Galatic.

I kinda think Jessie would get some other pokemon. I don't know which one but maybe something else that is kinda coolies. If she wants a poison type then it could be Skorupi but the problem is that recently Jessie has been really into contests so she may go for something that is kinda cute or useful in contests like a pachirsu.

That is a great idea that Ash and Dawn may trade pokemon. I haven't thought of that let. Also that could be good because I don't really like Ash being in contests so that is okies.

As of Ash's next pokemon I am not sure Hippopotas could be it. I guess maybe but it be really out of the orinary if he did get one. I kinda guessing that Paul will abondon his Chimchar because it been losing a lot and Ash will pick up. I mean look at how Paul treated it in his last apperence. This time Paul looked really upset and I thought that Paul wouldn't abondon it because it is his first pokemon but now that we learned it isn't then well. I am not sure how long Chimchar has before Paul just leaves it.

I think there's a high possiblity for the hippo to join Ash's team, but that will be determined in a week's time. The preview to the episode doesn't exactly give away a lot but it would be nice to get something else sort of "mean" and tough (after evolution), mirroring Phanpy's evolution.

I somehow however, don't think him and Hikari will ever trade Pokemon. Aipom and Buizel will remain as it is IMO...

As for Jessie, I'd like it if she got another Pokemon other than her current set up of mainly poison types. Any new D/P Pokemon would be fine... but if it had to be poison, then Skorupi... but J's already got Drapion... O.o

As for Paul's Chimchar, I remember seeing a picture once at Serebii.net where Brock had a Chimchar with him. Ash had Turtwig and Dawn had Piplup. With Brock's excellent caring skills, he just may be the one to get Paul's Chimchar assuming he'll abandon it.

As for Jesse, remember this. Not all of her Pokemon are of the Poison-type (i.e.: Wobbuffet and Lickitung) and if she does get a new Pokemon, it may be used to coordinate. She may get something like a Sneasel (it kinda fits her), Skorupi, or a Shinx (or James. Shinx kinda fits him better. After all, he did have a Growlithe once.)

Speaking of that, what do you guys think about James getting new Pokemon? He has two Grass-types and a Mime Jr. (It may eventually evolve into a Mr. Mime since it knows Mimic.)

I doubt James'll get another Pokemon, but then again Jessie caught 2 Pokemon in Hoenn, James may catch 2 in Sinnoh while Jessie gets one. If Mime Jr evovles it'll get shot... By me.

J could be Jessie and James' kid from the Future using Jessies' Skorupi XD You never know with all the furturistic technology they have. (Just kidding everyone!) I thought about Skorupi not being a possiblity also when I thought of J. Also I said in my first post that it's highley unlikely that they will trade, but then again if it's Aipom and Buizels' idea to trade then they'd respect it. (I can picture it, in Hearthrome town Ash and Dawn have a Contest/Gym battle in the morning at the same time and Buizel and Aipom swap their Pokeballs, Ash tries to call out Aipom and POP here comes Buizel)... But that's never gonna happen.

That was a dubbing error in America. In the Japanese version its refered to as "She." Plus she put on a Dress in "Pikachu's in charge" (I doubt they'd endorse crossing dressing in a pokemon or a human(Unless its meant for humor or nessecary(Like when Ash dressed up as a girl iN Celadon))) plus its suppose to be liek Bayleefn and have a crush on Ash.

Jessie should catcha Skorupi. Despite the fact J has a Drapion it's not like it will evolve(For a while anyway), she is a regular ont he show. J shows up like every 20 something episodes.

Go on either Wiki or watch the Japanese version of Aipom and Cirumstances (Known as liek Aipom and the king and Japanese). Haruka refers to her as a girl after certain occurances. Also watch "Pikachu's in charge."

Stunky could be "accidentally caught". Like, Jessies tried to catch a rare Pokemon, but it moved and the ball hit Stunky instead. I think that's how she caught Wobbuffet. Wobbuffet was defiantly not Jessie's style.

What about Mime Jr. or James' grass type Pokemon? Every time he calls out Carnivine, Cacnea, or Victreebel they always try to attack him. Obviously, Wobbuffet's not the only comic relief Pokemon. Mime Jr. takes Wobbufet's place. They both come out of their balls when Team Rocket does their motto, and the likes, so, yeah, Wobbufet's been replaced.

It is also the only way to see an untampered-with version of the anime. Pokemon is one of those shows where the dubbers kind of changed the show a little between versions. There's two versions of every anime, see: The kind we should have been watching but that was denied us by dubbers, and the kind that the dubbers try to force-feed us instead. Pokemon, as far as I know, isn't all that badly dubbed since PUSA took over. (If Dogasu's Backpack is to be believed, however, they really aren't all that great at musical scoring.) Like it or not, if you want to see a better version of the show you've got to watch the Japanese version, and that means downloading it. Kapish?

Of course, if you are looking for proof, Aipom has a fairly obvious crush on Ash. Really, I don't think Pokemon are homosexual. They're basically animals with brains and magic-y powers, for the love of all that is savory, therefore their orientation is always straight. (Although with the case of Bayleef and Aipom, I guess they have a version of whatever-it's-called... attraction outside your own species. I guess that's considered Okay. 0_o)

We've pretty much been assured that Ash will not receive Chimchar. It's also been established that Chimchar is not Paul's throwaway Pokemon. He's shown continued interest in Chimchar's potential and I think if he intended to throw it away, he'd have done it already.

As for Ash getting Hippopotas, I hope he does, because even by Anime standards, having only two captures when you're going for your third badge is just sad.

Yeah, a Purugly or Gliscor will suit her, the thing that annoys me about Team Rocket is the fact that even if they capture a legendary, they'll always lose no matter what because they're bad guys. Maybe the Anime should take more of a darker tone, the most TR have accomplished is splitting Ash and Pikachu up for 3 episodes, that's the best they've done in 9 or 10 seasons >O

As I've said in the past, "J" isn't all that menacing. She's just a villain who one-offs every few episodes to keep the series from getting stale. Eventually she'll probably becomes as repetitive as the Rockets, with less comic relief and more "And I would have gotten away with it too, if it weren't for those meddling-"

Anyway, Jessie receiving a snake would be nice and would certainly fit the theme, but as of right now I'm officially leaning towards Stunky. After all, Dustox isn't a snake but Jessie received it all the same.

Moving on, if Ash catches Hippopotas (which is a distinct possibility) it'll probably end up becoming a scenario like Corphish Hippopotas is sick/injured and Ash rescues it, thereby earning its trust. (Hooboy.)

I agree with everything, except your Dustox assertion. Dustox is a secondary Pokemon, just per as her Lickitung and later Wobbuffet. Yes, it's a valid point, but we've seen a certain type of person take to a out-of-character type of Pokemon as their signatures before (James and Brock's current rosters). I'm just arguing on the classification/public persona issue only.

Besides, Dustox's still a Poison type, and she loves those. So, it doesn't have to be a snake. "Big deal, and it's not her main one, so...." Hah.

Although, why didn't Nintendo make one for D/P, I have no clue.

Considering how sad Aipom was to be left behind, then be sad enough to want to sneak away and follow Ash to Sinnoh- I highly doubt that Ash & Dawn will trade.

As for the Hippo- In the preview, it looks like Ash and it quickly bond. I could see the Hippo on Ash's team.
I really wish someone would catch the pimpin' Balloon though. =/
