Sorry, I have to write another thread. I have a Zapdos in my FireRed team. Here is its moveset:
Zapdos Lv 100 @ ?
Brave Nature
Attacks:
-Drill Peck
-Thunderbolt
-Thunder
-Light Screen
Which item should I put on Zapdos? And should I replace Thunder with other attacks? Please comment.

BRAVE NATURE?O.O electric types have a bad movepool so replace Thunder for HP grass/ice. You need Naive/Hasty nature.(If you are using Drill Peck) Zapdos needs speed..

Thanks, Cakekun. But how do I get HP Grass/Ice for Zapdos?

Well, it's not like he can easly go and catch another Zapdos.
If you don't have a FR/LF/XD game, I would go with this:

Zapdos @ Leftovers
~Substitue
~Agility
~Thunder
~Light Screen/Drill Peck

all fixed, it does need speed boost to outrun Weavile

~Rene~ :t025:

Well, if you have FR and you can make a new game, I'd suggest you to reset until you get a Zapdos with the correct IVs for HP Ice/Grass, just to help you with Rhyperior and other Ground Walls.
Zapdos has a good speed, but the brave nature makes it vulnerable. That's why I would use Agility on that Zapdos.

Penguin: Yes, HP power would be good, but it is a pain to make a new game just to obtain it.

You'd need to save before facing Zapdos. When you catch it, check the IVs and HP with this (http://serebii.net/games/iv-calcdp.shtml) until you get one with HP Grass/Ice.

Just turn it off and turn it back on, hopefully you saved BEFORE you caught Zapdos.

Brave is really a bad nature for Special Sweeping. Sure you can buy Leafgreen. It doesn't make any difference.

Use Modest obviously.

Zapdos @:Leftovers
Trait: Pressure
Modest Nature
Drill Peck/Aerial Ace
Thunderbolt
Thunder Wave
Substitute. Not really much of a Movepool.

Good nature there. Use that.

Modest nature with that movepool is not effective with grass pkmn, plus that Zapdos can't do anything agaist a Groud~Rock Wall. A good nature would be either neutral, Mild or Rash but only if you're using Drill Peck instead of HP, if you're going to use HP, go with modest, but of course, it is very rare to get a Modest Zapdos with HP Ice.

I'm saying use Modest for Zapdos. As said by Penguinpal6, You don't want to have a Brave Nature for Special Sweeping. Brave lowers speed, You don't want that on a Special Sweeper. Edit: Hp ice/Grass over something. Edit:2 Substitute or Thunder wave.

Well buy Leafgreen, (Assuming you haven't bought it yet). Once you buy it, do a few tasks, Then trade all your pokemon over there. Once you start a new game, Do a few tasks like before, Trade them over. do that everytime you don't get a good nature. too bad you just can't breed them.
