Yeah, I wanna get into competative battling, so I had to reset because my TM's were wasted by family members who I let play some. BUT heres the point of the thread. I am asking any suggestions for a teamset. (keep in mind this is just for sinnoh region till i finish game) Also note that I don't necessarily have these pokemon but this is what I was thinking.

What I was thinking was:

Infernape
Phys. Sweeper

Skuntank
Spec. Sweeper

Gyarados
(not sure what he would be)

Garchomp
Phys. Sweeper

Blissey
Special Wall

Steelix
Defensive Wall

Any ideas pokemon changes??? helpful stuff to help me finish the game (again) with the toughest teamset?

If you don't have any movesets this should go in Request a Team.

Gyarados is a bulky water. Not exactly sure what that is..but he take a bunch of non-electric attacks and fight back with his awesome Attack stat ^^

so prob a phys sweeper :) plus he learns ice-fang :D

are there any pokemon that I should get? I thought about luxray like last time, it was quite useful, but only when I taught it rain daince/charge/thunder combo (holding damp rock)

Luxray fails because hes slow and the elemental fangs dont have such great base power. ..If its for in-game then its fine.

Yeah my plan was to see if Skuntank could learn something like Thunder or ThunderBolt. His special att. is pretty good for a team set till I beat the E4. Once I beat E4 I'll start transfering some of my toughies into here. ARe there any types I SHOULD get? I tryed to be as decent wide-spread as I could.

Ok guys how does this sound for a team (before i beat e4)

Special Sweeper
Skuntank

Attack Sweeper
Garchomp

Attack Sweeper
infernape

Cleric/Sp. Wall
Blissey

Baton Passer/Sp sweeper
Mr. Mime

Gyrados

Any move ideas? is this team seem good? Any suggestions?

Uh, here's a steelix moveset:

Steelix@Macho Brace/Leftovers
Relaxed Nature
EVs: 252 HP, 252 Defense, 6 Attack
~Gyro Ball
~Eathquake
~Stealth Rock
~Roar

Good set. Gyro ball is powered even more by macho brace, otherwise use leftovers.
