Enter key is your friend, I'm not the best but i'll give my advice as best I can...

Garchomp
?Nature?
Dragon Claw
Crunch
Dragon Rush
EarthQuake, Dig is pointless cuz all needed is a good earthquake or switch out to foil ur plans.

Lucario
?nature?
Close Combat
Force Palm You might wanna consider switching this for Drain Punch
Aura Sphere

Swampart
??nature??
Surf or Waterfall much better then muddy water
Roar
Ice Beam
Stone Edge

Sceptile...
??Nature??
Ok not to be rude but these attacks are virtually useless in a net battle.
a better line up would be imo
Leaf Blade
x-scissor
Earthquake
Quick Attack

Snorlax
??Nature??
He is a rest/snorer I see, but for this sleepy talk is useless.
Belly Drum
Rest
Snore
Focus Punch or Brick Break

Dragonite is a tough pokemon if u give him good attacks :)

Ok basically u have only 1 defensive and that is your Snorlax, a cleric is a must. And possibly a better sp att. sweeper.

For Swampert, use the Cursepurt set. Somebody please post it; I can't remember much about the set besides the move Curse.

True, but what you gave wil make him lose. Those pokes can do much better than what you gave, so rather than post a "creative" team, post a funtional one first. Your only messing up Pokefan. Seriously, Snore? 40 base power that can only be used with one of the worst stat conditions, Sleep? Why would you advise something like that? It can seriously mess Pokefan up.

Like giving directions. You can give him good directions, and get him there the right way, or bad directions, and get him lost.

StrickeN
August 19th, 2007, 07:11 PM
FYI, I assumed by the looks of his lax that he wanted a rest/attack combo. So I left the rest/snore. And he wouldn't lose with the poke's if he knew what he was doing. Get some common sense here. It's not purely about what poke's as much as it is knowing how to use certain combinations. Now he can do w/e he wants, he can change my advice and put his on 2 cents into it for all I give a ****. BUT there is no need to call things horrible, when indeed the attacks were good.

ALSO:
Sceptile...
??Nature??
Leaf Blade = Energy Ball/Giga Drain
x-scissor = Dragon Pulse
Earthquake = Focus Blast
Quick Attack = Brick Break

Sceptile is supposed to be speed + attack normally. you just pumped him full of sp. att. stuff.

Dragon Claw/Outrage
Crunch = Fire Blast

Ok you got a comper who generally has mass att. What is the point of FB? and Outrage is strong in general also but the confusion not so nice. the Swords Dance I say would be good.

Ok basically u have only 1 defensive and that is your Snorlax, a cleric is a must. And possibly a better sp att. sweeper.

With all due respect Stricken, these movesets are very bad. Two dragon attacks on one pokemon is never good. Giving Lucario all fighting attacks is suicide. Gengar or any ghost eats it for lunch and would still have plenty of room for dessert. In 4th gen, it is totally unnecessary to have special attacks on swampert. Avalanche and Waterfall over ice beam and surf. Sceptile is meant to be a special attacker, but quick attack? Unless you have swords dance, quick attack is a waster. At least leaf blade gives STAB...Try dragon pulse and energy ball for special attacks. You do realize snore is useless, right? Keep rest, but give it curse, return (152 base power on snorlax), and Earthquake or something. Really, do research b4 posting, as sceptile has merely average attack vs. its rather strong special attack. He is actually a special attacker, AKA special sweeper. Clerics are optional, really. Many teams don't use clerics, at least ones that don't use blissey. In conclusion, research is our friend.

EDIT: BTW, fire blast is for skarmory killing I believe. It's common logic. Beat both skarmory and blissey...makes sense to me.

Don't spam here. That kind of posts are of no use to anyone and only make you look stupid. And it also makes no difference whatsoever what level the Pokémon are, the movesets will work regardless of levels. -.- I had already seen enough of your spam before your absence so I'll be keeping an eye on you. This time I'll let you go without an official warning, though.

what do you mean by fire blast over flametrower?

what do you mean by fire blast over flametrower?
He means, in the provided specsmens set you can change flamethrower by fire blast.

About the Modest/Timid thing, it's pretty much what you think you need. I prefer Modest as it provides more attacking power, which makes Specsmence better IMO, because 110 base sp. att is good, but not great. 110 puts it in the range of a Charizard, who suffers from the same problem IMO.

CS can make up for that, but requires prediction skills, which I personally lack. So it's pretty much up to you. If you can predict well, go for a CS and Timid. If you don't, go for another item with a Modest one.

You know you can also look for things like that on google or sth right?

Anyway, Choice Band or CB increases 1 physical move's power by a factor of 1.5 and disables the others until you switch out. So eg you have a CB on your pokemon and use earthquake. That EQ will be 1.5 times stronger, but also the only move you can use, so if the opponent switches out to a flying pokemon, you will have to switch out.

Choice specs do the same, except that it isn't for physical but for special moves.

Choice scarf does the same aswell, except it doesn't increase attack power, but your pokemons speed.

Kayashi
August 22nd, 2007, 01:11 PM
-_-; geez, u don't know any of this stuff

Choice Band allows you to use one attack only for the whole battle unless you switch out. While you're using an attack, Choice Band raises the attack stat by 1.5

Specs is the same thing only with special attack.
