Yes, you heard me. I don't know if there's a stickied thread for this or not, but...
Okay, my basic layout. We all know that certain Pokemon evolve only through trading, correct? And we know that some of us have the Pokemon ready for evolution, but needing to be traded out first, right? Well, what if we have a Pokemon ready for evolution but need to give it to somebody and get it back, what then?
THE ANSWER IS RIGHT HERE IN SHAMELESS CAPITAL LETTERS.
Basically, just post here, link up with someone who wants to exchange Pokemon quickly, and go.
Rules of the Road
In order to make this work, three rules must be observed.
The Principle of Equivalent Exchange: In order to evolve your Pokemon through trading, you must help somebody else evolve their own in return. Basically, this means that as a bit of insurance, if you want to help someone evolve their Rhydon into a Rhyperior or whatever, you've got to trade in your Pokemon that's ready to evolve through trading in return. That way, if you take the Pokemon and run, you've lost something of equal worth. Same applies with shinies needing evolution: Offer a shiny of your own, or give them something else along with your ordinary Pokemon.
The Principle of Common Courtesy: Be polite and courteous, and for the love of all that tastes delicious with salsa use proper English.
The Principle of Non-Bumping: Only post if you have something is relevant to your current trades.
