I really don't know the 4th generation hasn't even been out for a Yea including Japan so I don't know. I hope they put another Ghost gym leader and a Water E4 member

Me and Chatot made a list.
1.Normal

8.Dragon (We gave him Salamence, Dragonair, Aerocatyl, Charizard, Milotic and Kingdra, he's a tank)
E4.Water,Steel, Electric, Grass and the Champion is all mixed up.
I jsut love ice types (except Frosslass) and wich it could be higher.

That would be awesoem, becasue If u havent wifi battles u atleast have battled some one in-game that uses wifi straigies like switching constantly. So the noobs like me can have more wifi training.

Has anyone noticed that the First Gym Leader almost always specializes in a Rock type?
Not always. In the 2nd gen it was Faulkner (or whatever his name was) who specialized in Flying types which was pretty hard at that stage of the game.
I guess it does make sense to have 3/4 start with Rock as chances are you started with either the grass/water Pokemon, thus giving you an advantage.

Second: Bug
Third: Grass
Fourth: Ice
Fifth: Fire
Sixth: Steel
Seventh:Psychic
As for the E4:
1st: Water

3rd: Dark
4th: Flying
Champion: A mix!
