HP Manipulation

Is there any way to manipulate Hidden Power through breeding? I need an Oddish with Hidden Power Rock, but its difficult.

All you can do is keep breeding until you get the necessary IVs. But in E/D/P, 2 or 3 IVs randomly selected from the parents (between them) are passed on to the baby.

Find out the IV sets that give Rock, and then get parents with those IV's, perhaps. Sounds torturous though.

You can by the way breed me an Oddish with HP Fire, you'll make it by the time I buy a DS Lite. I'm not kidding.

You see, thats the prob. I HAD an Oddish with Rock, but confused it with Bug & threw it away. I was sooo pissed when I EV trained the wrong one FOR TWO WEEKS!

Everytime I get a pikachu with 31/30 in speed with a hardy nature it always turns out to be HP rock(pbr pikachu resetting)

See, now that sucks. I had a few Rock, but the power was too low.

Wait, now that I think about it, can Pichu pass that HP thru breeding? If so, may I have it if you don't need it? I can have it breed with Hoppip, and then Oddish.

Well the thing is I wasn't aiming for HP Rock, I was aimig for 31 in special attack and speed. Well, I got them but it turns out that if I got 31 in both, I end up with fighting type. I can let you breed it if you are in need of HP fighting anytime though.

Aw, darn. I got 70 in Fighting, but thats not what I want. I need Rock.
