MAJOR Yu-Gi-Oh Rumour

A rumour has been cirulating that Upper Deck will in fact ban the cards I've posted a while ago on July 1st, 2004. This is just before Nationals, I heard, so it might be interesting that way.

Anyway, this rumour sounds quite convincing as the serious tourney players ARE indeed thinking of substitutions for the missing slots.

Well YGP doesn't have R&D to do testing for insanely broken stuff. Even with R&D sometimes the brokenness can come through (skullclamp). Without R&D...ouch.

the larva's so powerful tho. Give it lightning greaves and it's a darn ball lightning that has 1 more power and 5 more toughness...

technically speaking, it's the CED combo. No, it's not much of a combo, but YGO dosn't have combos to begin with.

I have a combo using Amazon Archer + Scapegoat + Magician of Faith...
And I dont even have a Yata...

here's my hand
yata,confiscation,drop off,deliquent duo and a don zaloog
you have a amazon archer,scapegoat,maigican of faith, a monster reborn and another scapegoat
let's say i went first
i set down my drop off
play a confiscation
discard your archer
and now i'll play a deliquent
your 2 scapegoats go to the graveyard.
and i'll play a don zaloog and end my turn
you attempt to draw but you have to discard it because of drop off
you put a magician of faith down and reborn your amazon archer
now it's my turn
i draw a time seal i set it down
and i atk your magician with my don zaloog
you get your scapegoat back and put it in your hand
and then it's your turn
once again you can't draw because i'll play time seal
and you set down your 1 scapegoat
i draw and happen to get another don zaloog
i'll play out another don zaloog and with 1 of them i'll attack your amazon and they'll both die
attempt to atk your life but you play scapegoat and so you have 3 more
it's your turn you draw and happen to get a raigeki you'll save it for later and it is now my turn
i draw a forceful sentry and i'll save that too so i'll play yata and kill 2more scapegoats
now you have 1 goat
i'll now end
you draw and you got swords of revealing light and decide to play it
and you also play raigeki killing my don zaloog
so now it's my turn i happen to draw an Mystical Space Typhoon
attack your last goat with my yata and it all comes down to this
you have 0 card in my hand i have a yata in my hand and you have this only chance to get a card to kill yata
first of all
you need to draw a trap card because yata will just come back to my hand
second of all
a creature would save you but then again you could draw a tribute monster
magics dont work against yata
and besides i could draw to
so you have 1/3 of a chance of surviving
