What do you want in pokemon dating sim or what character you want in a dating sim? We are taking request for as of right now!

Axibar, havent you played a dating sim b4, you dont walk around, you usally have a map you click areas to goto try to pick up chicks, date them, then if its the adult version, you go a bit further.

Flash seems to be the ultimate choice for this game.

I suggest you trace existing trainer images and make your own vector versions in Flash or Inkscape. You have plenty of drawing to do.

You're going to need different facial expressions - keep the face and the body separate.

You won't be playing as Ash Ketchum. You will be an unname trainer just becoming a pokemon.

Probably because not everybody has the time or ability to create entirely new characters, much less draw all the images needed for a dating sim. Once again, this topic had died. (I'm pretty sure you just want more posts. Still, this isn't the way to do that.)

The main problem is that, in general, dating sims are meant to be played by guys. Not meant to be sexist, it's just that most dating sims are aimed towards a male audience simply because, in general, guys are much more likely to buy that kind of thing.

Uhh. Steven, Lance, Gary, and Wallace? These people seem to gather a lot of fangirls. -personally doesn't care much for Lance or Wallace- x_x;

I suggest that you keep the amount of characters to a minimum. Maybe... eight at the /very/ most? I mean, it'll already be confusing enough for the players to navigate through all those characters, but you'd also be designing the game for thirty odd characters. Wouldn't that be tiring? The most I've seen for is around fifteen characters, including two secret ones (Seirei Gakuen, for GBA). But if you're up for it, I won't stop you.

And, I think keeping Pokemon in the game would be nice. You could have most of the game in sprites, mainly have the trainer catch Pokemon. Maybe catching certain Pokemon or talking to people at a certain time of day could trigger CG events? ...This'll be making the game even more complicated. Bother. Anyway, I don't think basing the entire game completely on a dating sim is a good idea.
