ok so i breeded chansey and roselia, the chansey had everstone and roselia had aromatherapy. but the baby chansey didn't have aromatherapy... what's wrong?

not trying to be rude or call you stupid, but are you sure the Roselia is male?

Well, if they actually did produce an egg, then it would have had to be male.

Anyway, the only thing I can think of is that the Roselia leveled up in the Day Care BEFORE an egg was produced, and Aromatherapy was lost to a new move. In the day care, when a Pokemon levels up it will just learn a new move, and won't prompt you to keep it or not. That's why it's best to breed for egg moves with the males at a high level.

Even so, if you put it in the daycare and it levels up to remove a move, that move will still be learned by the egg. If you took it out, and it had leveled up and forgotten the move, then yeah, Richard's right.
