omega wants to wait till he is done through the eight gym and get as many bugs out as possible thats the only reason he's not sending out demo 2 just yet. although it maybe because of personal reasons but its sure to come out pretty soon until then just watch the updates and play through demo 1. Im sure it wont be long until he releases it. and the girtiania sprite does look a little off in the screenie for some reason to me. and there is one grammer mistake in one of the screenies. again just pointin it out to help ya.

1. There is already a demo in the first post, although it is quite outdated ( December 2007 )
2. RM2K3 you have to pay for, I hope you know this. Simply googling "Download RM2K3" would suffice without having to look for someone to give you a link. -_-'
Also, Poccil's Starter Kit won't work for RM2K3, so I suggest sticking with RMXP.

and he may not be able to play the demo because he clicked on something else at a certian point in the startup. It does it to every game. you got to keep it up throughout the beggining intro then it shouldnt do that.

Pkmn Raptor is a brilliant hack... and the demo was amazing! I was so happy when i found it. But i was very sad ;P when i won against the 4th Leader, because the demo was finished ^^

The best thing is, what noone other did before... that you made a true RPG!!! 1000 Times *Thumps Up* and Respect...

I know Im new here, but i have some important questions [for me]...
- is it true that the demo#1 came out in december 2007 ???
- is there any possibility to raise the speed?! maybe 2x^^
- the screens show lots of locations, which were not in the demo... for example: how do you get charmanda there?
- are the errors in the markets corrected
- is it true that you could only find HM05 - Rock Smash in this demo#1?
- will there be really all Pkmn to catch? the 12 starter too???
- will you erase trading-evolutions? i hate them^^
- when do you plan to bring out the next demo?

Mission: A random guy comes to you and tells you that his (insert Pokemon Name here) was cloned! You go over to his place, only to find that BOTH his Pokemon were stolen!! (By Team Hunter). When you go to some other place, you find the Place where the two Pokemon are kept (in PokeBalls). You collect both and return the Ditto to him accidentally. He realizes this later, and then you exchange them.

well he never explained wat happens after darkrai shows up so you maybe able to go to both after you finish another but then again if i was him i would make you choose between them. nice update og. and it was fine i had my anitcipation still up dud. it was worth the wait and glad to hear the demo is really close to being ready.
but i do suggest you try and move the girtiania sprite up just a little bit in its front postision. from wat i think girtiania shouldnt be on the ground in that form but floating in the air but then again im not sure he can float at all (just looks a little off, not the sprite though thats really good and congrats sl)

Umm would this be a good event? You were just walking along and any common random pokemon runs by you and right behind it are 2 team hunter grunts and when there running by after the pokemon you hear 1 of the grunt's say something about a mew. So you decide to investigate and realise that the common pokemon that ran by was really a mew using transform to hide itself. Then of course you would have to stop team hunter and save the mew.

You can. Yes, without trading. You dont need to choose one of them. You will battle them soon in the event.

well he never explained wat happens after darkrai shows up so you maybe able to go to both after you finish another but then again if i was him i would make you choose between them. nice update og. and it was fine i had my anitcipation still up dud. it was worth the wait and glad to hear the demo is really close to being ready.
but i do suggest you try and move the girtiania sprite up just a little bit in its front postision. from wat i think girtiania shouldnt be on the ground in that form but floating in the air but then again im not sure he can float at all (just looks a little off, not the sprite though thats really good and congrats sl)

Yep, the first room of the 8th gym!

The 8th GYM:
This is the explaination of the 8th gym. Since it was the last gym, so you will met some difficulty when playing around in the gym. The gym split into 3 room. The screenshot above released about the first room. The 2nd and 3rd room remain secret untill the next update.

In the first room, there is some special platform where you can use PSYCHIC power by using PSYCHIC Point. And there's some guy giving out the PSYCHIC points. By using the PSYCHIC power in the first room, you are able to teleport to the next platform. Use it wisely, it may lead you to a dead end. Then, you have to restart everything and play it again.

its a great idea omega. like so the phykick points allow you to teleport if you have enough and the way you get enough is by beating trainers. i see nice idea dude

The game is awesome! You seem to have worked hard on it. My only complaint is that when I close it, and open up the game for the second time, the begining screen is just still while playing the music, and I can't continue to the title screen, or the game. OK, I don't know if this is a glitch or what, but this is what I found when playing Pokemon Raptor.

I never went to the pokemon center at all, and when I fainted I went to what was supposed to be the front of my home. There were a bunch of people standing there. I talked to one of them: she gave me all the badges. It talked to the next one: she gave me six level 20 pokemon. I talked to another one: she asked me if I wanted to change the weather. A few other ones were telling me stuff like how to script. I went down and talked to someone, and they said something like "want to battle"(don't remember exactly what they said), and then they said something about how there wasn't a trainer sprite attached to them. After battling the two guys standing next to him, I found a small cave, but I didn't explore it much. After walking out of the cave, I found a patch of grass up ahead, and there was a trainer with an item sprite next to him. After battling the trainer, I picked up the item sprite and it said I obtained mew and that mew was placed into box 1. I went into the pokemon center and battled a few trainers there. I went to the PC and switched mew with pikachu and then did a double battle with these two trainers in the pokemon center. In the middle of the battle, the game froze and I decided to stop playing the game.

i dont know if this has been reported already but i had a problem with the music in the game

i started a new game and had no music playing until i went into the pkmn centre. the pkmn centre theme started playing but when i left it didnt stop until i entered a battle(the battle theme worked perfectly). after the battle the pkmn centre music started again and only stoped when i entered another battle.

again sorry if its allready been reported but i couldnt fin a bug section to check

on a positive note i was extremely impresed by the quality of the graphics in this game as a whole. i can really see myself becoming a major fan

1. Is this game a hack of another? What are you stupid, if it was a hack it wouldnt be made wit RMXP (RPG Maker XP), second it wouldnt even be in this section it would be in the rom hacking section of the forums, and third no game maker likes anyone calling there games hacks of other works so i would suggest you dont do it.

It tells me I failed to extract the program, even though I have winrar. Is it possibly that I don't have RPG Maker?

Yes, you have to install RPG Maker to play it.

After I deleted mine, I couldn't play the games anymore.
So, I had to download a new one and re-install it.

hmm... must be different because for when i played the demo i didnt have rpg maker on my computer i was still working w/ game maker (which sucks for doing games like mine and omegas,) but ive been hearing that you need rpg maker to play it.

As you see, I've made the 8th gym. Now just need to add in the 8th gym leader. After adding it, I'll send the game to Co-Founder, ShinyLugia for some modifying. Then beta test it and the 2nd Demo will be out.

Amazing Updates OG. But, I have a question... is it possible, to increase the speed of a game like this? i played some other pkmn rpgs too and the most of them are to slow imo, maybe even slower than on a normal gameboy. So, is it possible? maybe to increase the speed by 10%-20% or something like this?!
and one other thing... how large will be the window? will it be large enough?

The last Screens. Sry, but i dont like youre battle screen, especially the box with "Fight, Bag etc" ... i love all other things you have done, especially the region and story and animations, but the battle screen looks boring and not well done.
Imo you should overwork the letters, thats the biggest Problem i think... they are to big for their boxes.

Anyway, a good news here:


I've fully complimented the menu which you can switch the style in Option.( Side scrolling style and Normal )
There will be a "Speed Up" button, where when you press the button, the whole game will speed up for 200~300%. ( Kinda like Visual Boy Advance...)

Just to let you guys know i've finished going over one town/city of the game and i'm moving onto a route. It's going to take some time if i go at this rate but like OG said the release date he posted is pretty close to when i'll be finished or even earlier.
