Introduction
I'm going to introduce myself. I'm OmegaGroudon, I've been a game developer since quite a while now. Yes, I'm here to present my recent project, POKEMON RAPTOR...

Story
The story starts with a scene where STEVEN is teaching you about battling
with a pokemon. When you finish learning, you are asked for choosing one
pokemon from the three SINNOH starter.

Then, you will have to defeat gym leaders, collect badges and so on untill
you met TEAM HUNTER, a team that lead by sixteen trainer which is known
as CHAOS SIXTEENTH. They try to collect plates from legendary Pokemon
to summon the God of the Pokemon, ARCEUS...

Adventurous and interesting storyline happened when you try to stop
them from summoning ARCEUS. You’ll have to face challenges, defeat
enemies and save the world...

Now, the explaination of CHAOS SIXTEENTH since lots of people don't understand what it means.
Explaination:


What is CHAOS SIXTEENTH?
CHAOS SIXTEENTH made up of 16 strong trainer. They created a team known as TEAM HUNTER to help them in collecting PLATES. Specific pokemon including Legendary Pokemon, holds the plate. CHAOS SIXTEENTH need these plates for their goal.

What is the GOAL?
They collect the plates to summon ARCEUS with the help of DIALGA and PALKIA.

Secret of CHAOS SIXTEENTH
CHAOS SIXTEENTH made up of 16 trainers which chase after plate holder each. But there is 3 more character controlling the whole group. There is 2 co-founder and founder. They are more stronger than the whole team.

Beetle badge : A beetle-liked badge which enable the owner to control the "lust" emotion of a human.
Volt badge : A v-shaped badge which enable the owner to control the "gluttony" emotion of a human.
Break badge : A badge which looks like cracked earth. It enable the owner to control the "greed" emotion of a human.

This is the final release of Pokemon Raptor.


First of all, I would like to introduce myself, I'm O.G. Duke or you can also call me OmegaGroudon. A PC member who just surf on the rom hacking section 4 years ago. Then I've started my rom hacking life but unfortunately, failed. Maybe it's too hard for me at that time.

Then, I noticed Game Development section, I surf in it and found some interesting Pokemon fangame like Pokemon Protector and Pokemon R/S/E Legendz. I asked myself, "Why don't I try making my own Pokemon game?" I've searched a long the internet for tutorial on How to make this and that...

But again, I failed. There are lots of starter kit liked Blizzy's starter kit and Flameguru's starter kit but they aren't complete. So I thought I won't be able to make a Pokemon fangame. I tried to make some RPG game using RMXP's default graphics and scripts. Cooperate with friends and finally completed my first game: “Curse of the World" (Yeah, a lame name. XD)

I returned to Pokecommunity, and I found a thread called Pokemon Custom Battle System (If I'm not wrong.) Poccil is the thread starter. I downloaded it and try it, and I come out with a lot of complains. Due to my lack of scripting knowledge, I don't know the Custom Battle System is the calculation and the basic of Pokemon Battle System.

Once, I remember I said something harsh to Flameguru that time. I complained a lot and acting rude to him. I'm so sorry about that. I would like to apologize to flameguru here again. Soon, the first version of Pokemon Essential is out. 2 years ago.

I tried it and it worked, that’s the beginning of Pokemon Raptor...

But why? Why "Raptor", Raptor is some kind of dinosaur name isn't it? XD
To be honest, Raptor is my mistake. Actually I'm thinking of a name related to capture or catching.
It should be "Captor" and not "Raptor".
So yea, it was a mistaken.
But since, I've getting more fans, and I decided to keep the name. A unique name. XD

In my development, I've tried to give up several times. As you see, I dissappear for a long time without update. That's because I've lost interest on Pokemon Raptor. But finally, I get back onto it. I don't want to disappoint all the fans. And, Pokemon Raptor is nearly complete, so I shouldn't give up. So I decided to continue my project.

Finally, Pokemon Raptor is out. I've done a really long, huge project. (At least for me.)
And I'm happy of it. I'm happy of how it turn out.

Uhh... Ahem, may I point out something? The transparency for the grass tiles doesn't look right with the Pokemon/People Sprites because they're so small, and the transparency covers almost their whole body. It looks good with Metagross, only because he's a big sprite however, but not so much with the others.

Perhaps you should change it so the Transparency covers maybe.. 20% of the sprite, rather then 50%, because the sprites that originally come with RMXP are bigger than Pokemon sprites, and therefore, look more real.

But that's my opinion. =P

@Dennis ter Maat : I don't need a forum. Thanks for offer. Well yes! There is no "elite 4" in the region. Instead, there is "Gaia Origin" ( still thinking of another name because this name is taken from Digimon Dawn/Dusk). There is about 4 trainer that wanna train you before you go fight with the last battle ( I'll keep it as secret )!

Anyway, there is also a Torxia League. It was something like tournament. There is maybe 32 ladder and you have to become the champ. But you can only participate once.

And my team group are planning adding Jhoto and Hoenn ( Just planning ) but we still need discussion. If we added those region, we might just add few place from the region.

Hey, OmegaGroudon. The game is coming a long quite nicely, but I am not too sure about all of the sprites... (except for the hero/heroine, those are awesome!)

On Topic ~ Omega, those screens are awesome! Where did you get the pictures of Celebi and the sketch of Celebi and the main character?

Looking great! Might want someone to touch up the grammar however. But other than that, it looks awesome.

How about you learn to obey the rules? Spam is a bane on everyone's eyes, why should we suffer just because you want the Mods to "Loosen up"?

On Topic: The screens look awesome man, can you please upload it somewhere other than Imageshack next time? It took me 10 minutes just to let them all load!

That was an awesome update, and I think another Celebi update would be awesome! Celebi is the main pokemon of my game that hasn't been posted, Pokemon: Deluxe and he is also my favorite!

I think you should make the Deoxys event a little later in the game, I'm guessing it is pretty early because he is level 30..:P
