Well, I sort of went inactive and now I'm back. I just need to know what you think about this team. ITs altered alot since my last RMT here.

Garchomp@???
Jolly
252 Attack 252 Speed
Fire Fang
Dragon Claw
Sword Dance
Earthquake

Sword Dance Garchomp. Fire Fang is my preference even though he is walled by Skarmory. Dragon Claw and EQ for stab. AS of now, he is my lead, and so far has worked wonders by deminoshing an pesky Ninjasks before things get out of hand. IF you think I have a better lead, then tell me please. Finished.

Gengar@???
TIMID Happy???
252 Sp. attack 252 speed
Hypnosis
Focus Blast
Shadow Ball
Thunderbolt

Don't say anything about the nature. I really don't give a dam. I know most people have Timid Gengar, but gengar has worked amazing, so just don't even mention it. Hynosis for sleep purposes and everything else for type coverage. Finished

Blissey@Leftovers
Bold
Typical EV spread ( Don't remember)
Seismic Toss
Softboiled
Thunder Wave
Ice Beam

Typical Blissey. I don't really need to say anything. Finished.

Skarmory@Leftovers
Impish
Again, typical EV spread I don't remember
Aerial Ace? ( I can't get Drill Peck)
Roost/Spikes?
Stealth Rock
Whirlwind

Typical Skarmory. I can't get Drill Peck, so is aerial Ace fine? I prefer stealth rock as it killed Yanmega and a Charizard for me. Roost or Stelth Rock is questionable. I can't decide. I currently knows Roost. Finished

Dugtrio@Choice Band ( The attacking one right?)
Adamant
252 Speed 252 attack
Sucker Punch
Earthquake
Stone Edge
Aerial Ace

My Metagross counter. Sucker Punch to pick off weak pokes and EQ for STAB. Everything else for type coverage. In process ( needs Stone Edge and Aerial Ace)

Slowbro@Leftovers
Bold
212 HP 252 Defense 44 Sp attack
Slack Off
Thunder Wave
Surf
Ice Beam

Bulky Water Slowbro. Some people say Calm Mind is good, but I prefer this move set. Ice Beam has better type coverage than Ice Beam as I'm told, so Ice Beam over Psychic I guess.

Tell me what you think and any advice. PLease read my strategy so you don't say something that I already know.

OMG! MODEST?! LOLOLOLOL NOOB!

Just kidding. Though I still say Timid, but that, of course, is on you. I can't find any glaring weaknesses, although Drill Peck>Aerial Ace IMO.

Well, yeah, Drill Peck is better than aerial ace, but if I can't get drill peck, is aerial ace the next best choice.

Gengar kicks *ss. I've actually out sped another gengar before, so GET OVER IT!! I prefer Modest even though it may not be the best choice. Sorry.

Jeez, it was a joke. Did ya see where it said the choice is up to you?

Aerial Ace, if ya can't do better. Sure.

No. Ace is MUCH better. No one uses Steel Wing.

I am so tired, this'll be the last thing I say tonight.

I hear Wide Lens is great on Gengar. At least when ya use Hypnosis. But if you really want Modest, Focus Sash might be better.

Good night, & good luck.

Garchomp@Yache Berry
Hasty
252 Attack 252 Speed
Fire Blast
Dragon Claw
Sword Dance
Earthquake
Needs more Dugtrio for lead as this looks like your main sweeper.
Fire Blast for more damage to Skarm imo.

Gengar@Wide Lens
Timid
252 Sp. attack 252 speed
Hypnosis
Focus Blast
Shadow Ball
Thunderbolt
Timid Nature. Wide Lens. DO IT.

Blissey@Leftovers
Bold
212 HP / 216 Def / 80 SAtk
Seismic Toss
Softboiled
Aromatherapy
Ice Beam
You'll probably need another filler in place of Seismic Toss because Aromatherapy on Blissey is IMPORTANT. And since you'd have to rebreed, and there are no S-Toss Move Tutors on D/P...

Skarmory@Leftovers
Impish
Again, typical EV spread I don't remember
Aerial Ace? (I can't get Drill Peck) (Oh yes you can)
Roost
Stealth Rock
Whirlwind
...How can you not get Drill Peck? Go. Get. A FEAROW.

Dugtrio@Choice Band ( The attacking one right?)
Adamant
252 Speed 252 attack
Sucker Punch
Earthquake
Stone Edge
Aerial Ace

I like Night Slash better instead of Sucker Punch.

Slowbro@Leftovers
Bold
212 HP 252 Defense 44 Sp Defense
Slack Off
Thunder Wave
Surf
Ice Beam
If you're not running Calm Mind, then you need more Sp. Defense.

Tell me what you think and any advice. PLease read my strategy so you don't say something that I already know.
You don't have to follow any of this if you don't want, I'm just speaking my suggestions.

KingFlygon

thanks, but like I said, some of these pokemon are already complete, so restarting skarmory for 20 more power is just plain rediculous. Gengar has MOdest nature, so get over it.

Dugtrio for lead? I'm not doubting you, but can you explain why dugtrio would make a good lead?

sims796
October 18th, 2007, 01:07 PM
First off, remove Gengar. Don't post it if you don't want suggestions. Dugtrio is speedy, hits kinda hard, and most of all, won't killl your team if you lose it.

Also, there is no point rating if you won't be flexible. That 20 (20?!) base power difference will save your Skar from getting wiped out by things it should've been taking out.

ok sorry. Chill out. You don't have to flip. I can be flexible, but there is no point in telling me that Gengar needs Timid nature if I fricken know that! Mybe, you know, just maybe, I like to have Gengar with a Modest nature! Its really personal preference, just like choosing thunder punch or thunder bolt on electivire. Your team can't be perfect, so just drop the gengar thing!

sims796

Nobody's flipping. I don't know why you ignore the helpful things I post. As I said, if you are THAT content with Modest, don't post it. People WILL comment on it.

You pretty much shot down all advice, because those pokes are already complete. This is why I say "be flexible". If your not willing to re-breed, not much can be changed. Now I explained why Dugtrio is a great lead, and why Drill Peck is better. In my above post.

I'm looking at your team and whatnot... if you want a Skarm w\ Drill peck, I can breed it for you... it'll have the moveset: Drill Peck, Stealth Rock, Roost, Whirlwind.

PM me if you want it... I like the looks of you team overall... looks like it can hold its ground in many circumstances. just watch out for things like a rain dancing Kingdra..

I know. Thanks, I will use Dugtrio as lead. I guess I could consider rebreeding if you are that content on me restarting my shiny IV'd Skarmory just to get drill peck.

And just I question, why do I need more sp. defense if Slowbro is a Defensive Wall? And what would I get rid of if I put up Calm Mind?

sims796
October 18th, 2007, 06:43 PM
If you REALLY like Skar, it can funtion as is.

If you REALLY like that Gar, for the love of God, give it Focus Sash. Without Timid, my Raichu outspeeds it. I can then wipe it out with a Nasty Plot/Thunderbolt. So Modest NEEDS Focus Sash.

As for Slowbro...ask Iceman.

KingFlygon
October 18th, 2007, 06:53 PM
ok, then Focus Sash it is. Thanks. But my Gengar is NOT unless as it has beaten many pokemon before and with a strategy, it can hold its own. So, I understand your opion and I understand why it pleads timid, but unless I can find an really good gengar in replace of it, then I'll just stick with him.

And even with Drill Peck skarmory still can't pawn pokemon except for maybe heracross, but I also understand that it works better with drill peck.

sims796
October 18th, 2007, 07:02 PM
I never said it was useless. Just fragile.

As I said, a SHINY Skarmory can funtion without Drill Peck.

No comment to the timid gengar >_<
Dugtrio Night slash? ***uldn't Sucker Punch make more sense? It always goes first, but I guess I'll switch it.
Skarmory can't have hidden power flying. That's a special attack.
Garchomp is sword dance garchomp. What would the moveset for a sword dance garchomp be?

Itachi is haviong a genration crisis since he plays both 3rd and 4th gen jk

Gengar needs timid to outspeed a truckload of stuff...I won't list them all, but without the extra speed, gengar will fall VERY quickly, even with focus sash.

Yes. This is true, and an understatement. Without outspeeding, and killing his opponent. He's doomed. OHKO ftw. Hypnosis, though, helps you to last longer with Gengar. Wide lens to increase that poor accuracy. Gengar begs to hit.

It's NOT an opinion, it's a fact

Give Gengar Life Orb/Wide Lens/Choice Specs(With Energy Ball/HP Ice in place of Hypnosis)/Choice Scarf(Same thing with Choice Specs)/Focus Sash

I usually run Focus Sash, but you need Rapid Spinner. It's a Must

KingFlygon

I have a Rapid Spinner Fortress. He can hold his own, but what do I replace him for?

Fortress@Leftovers
Relaxed
252 HP 252 Defense
Stealth Rock
Rapid Spin
Explosion
Gyro Ball

The reason for gyro ball is because of its relaxed nature. Magnezone is a threat, but some how, thunderbolt only lowers him down to half, so no major threat, and besides, I would switch out. Dugtrio can counter. EQ does almost no damage even from a Life Orb Garchomp, so I'm fine there.

Maybe I could switch out Skarmory, but then SkarmBliss is negated.

Anti Pop Culture Warrior

what? why and how do they have anything to do with each other?

Because stealth rock beats a gengar with 1 HP (which would be focus sash's effect) and KOs gengar. If you aren't gonna use the sash, use sakrm. and lol, forry stands no chance against magnezone w/o EQ, since magent pull screws you and Tbolt is a 2HKO I'd think. And if you don't wanna rebreed gengar, don't use it. You could trade, but it's more fun when you train your own pokemon and watch it pay dividends.
