Death Note Dub on AdultSwim!

I must say that the dub was quite good! Light's voice is perfect for him! Ryuuk's voice is very good too!

It hasn't (and won't) air for a few hours in the US. I'm not really looking forward to it, the previews didn't make the voices sound all that great. I hope that changes in the actual episode.

I know. I'm going to record it since most likely I'm going to fall dead asleep by 11:00 Pacific. And I can't believe they took out BLEACH for a while though. I'm keeping up on crunchyroll though.

I watched the first episode on Adult Swim last night. I hadn't been keeping up with [AS] lately, so I thought Blood+ or something else was coming on, but then I recognized some of the people in the opening and started watching. I hadn't seen a bit of Death Note until that came on. It got me pretty interested, and I have a friend who has like all of the manga, so I might have to borrow it from her. :3

I was actually half-expecting to see Bleach when I played my tape from last night, but...go figure. I take it that Bleach was completely removed from the lineup for now as opposed to just moved, then?

...Enough off-topicness. I watched the episode, and...it didn't seem that special to me. Of course, keep in mind that's coming from somebody who hadn't ever seen anything from this anime/manga before, so I might be biased in some respect or something. However, the first episode didn't strike me as special or anything. :\

Don't worry Bleach is there(No new episodes just follow-ups)....So you still have Bleach and Deathnote.

I think the situation is that the BLEACH dub is catching up to the episodes being dubbed, so a break is needed so they can dub more episodes. That would also explain why over here in Canada they decided to re-air the first 26 episodes after the first run.

As for the Death Note dub, haven't seen it yet. It doesn't premier until this Friday here.
