I'm not a lolita fan, really. So most of the clothing from Japan that everyone loves is just stuff that I... don't really get the appeal of. :| But then, I've never been one to pay any attention to fashion, so...

I admirer Japanese clothing but I wouldn't wear it.:/
It's appealing to look at and see others wear but I prefer wearing American style clothing.:/

I kinda know what you mean, though would never be able to pull it off here in the UK. Maybe if I was to move to Japan....

I've never been into any of the really wild styles like lolita... although, the outfits are definitely fun to draw and look at. XD; But I personally wouldn't want to wear something that would draw so much attention to myself like that. I prefer the cute and simple clothes that can be dressed up with accessories.
Something that I've noticed about most Japanese fashion, though, is that their outfits are usually modest, which isn't something I see a lot of around here. I know so many girls that dress just to emphasize their figures, and it gets on my nerves. I'm not saying you wouldn't see it in Japan, either, but at least it doesn't seem to be as common there... yet? *shrugs* That's just what I noticed when I was flipping through one of the clothing magazines, but since I don't live there myself, who knows. XD

What's wrong with girls wearing certain clothing to emphasize their figure? I think it's perfectly fine. I don't see why a girl shouldn't accentuate her bodily features if she wants to. Don't be jealous.>_<

but it sucks that there clothing cost a lot of money though, even when you buy it with YenA friend of mine recommended www.asiajam.com (http://www.asiajam.com) to me, and as it turned out, you can find some cute (and pretty cheap) stuff there!
And yikes, that first picture scares the heck out of me, lol. XD; Especially the... uh, corset thing one of the girls is wearing. I love the clothes and accessories in the second one, but not all together like that. The third is cute, though. <3
I'll have to scan some pics from the mini calender and magazine that my pen-pal from Japan sent me. I got tons of outfit ideas from them!

Don't be jealous.>_<Well, you’re a guy… so I’m sure you don’t mind. But in my opinion, when girls dress like that just to get attention, it makes them come off as pretty shallow. =\ I’d rather be noticed and liked for my personality, rather than figure. If other girls don't want to do the same then that's their business, but it won't change what I think.
And uh, I never said that I was jealous. You shouldn't jump to conclusions when you’ve never even seen what I look like. Just because I don’t flaunt what I’ve got in front of guys doesn’t mean that I’m not happy with the way that I look. I’m not trying to come off as rude, but… sheesh. ^^;

And I don't think that if a girl wears clothes that show off her body, she just wants attention. Yeah sometimes what you said is true, but others it just means that she has a good self-image. But anyway back on subject.
My friend got me some shirts over there, but the sizes were all weird and it ended up being a medium in our sizes..I wear a large.

If you don't like me for my personality or intelligence, then kiss my butt. ^.^ I think Japanese fashion is interesting, I wouldn't mind walking around in Japanese street fashion. :P

The Japanese try too hard. I think Italian designers are the Cream of the Crop.
btw dude above me... the clothes worn by BLACK BELTS are korean, hence, black belts, referring to Tae Kwon Do which is korean martial arts. :/
