I have been trying to figure out how to breed over natures to my eggs. IN this case, I was breeding a swablu with Thief, to a female Crobat with Adamant nature. To try to make a baby Zubat with Thief, and an adamant nature. 95 eggs later and not ONE had an adamant nature. Had oddly 13 Bashful, and no the Swablu was not Bashful, he was Quiet. Got 4 Quiet Zubats though.
I had my Crobat hold an everstone, which I read is supposed to give your chances at breeding over the nature to a 50% chance. ... yeah I don't believe this.
The fraction of female to male eggs was in favor of male, 78% male. Neither male nor female ever cameout Adamant, I settled on a Relaxed nature.
But, my query is this, are there any good ways to breed over natures?

Actually Natures Are Totally Random Bro..And Its A Killer If You Try To Breed For Specific Natures

There is some way that you can specifically try and pass on natures, Trainer17 - and it is with Everstones, yet I cannot remember if the male or female is supposed to hold it. I just made both parents hold one when I bred for a Modest Mareep (both were Adamant nature).

It is a 50% chance of it passing on the nature per egg, so your either extremely unlucky or i dont know....

Just to make sure, do the two Pokémon originate from different language versions? I've had the same problem and switching one of the Pokémon to match the language of the other one made it work.
*edit* Also, what version are you playing? The Everstone trick only works in Emearld, Diamond and Pearl.

ASO!, Atm im playing on Sapphire, which would explain why the everstone trick isn't working. Also, all the pokemon I have are mine, from other versions, RSE, LGFR. Guess ima just hafta buy an emerald version soon. It was fun, I rented it from GF. Had it for 3 months now,... lol.

give a ditto an everstone and it will pass on its nature 50% of the time. also works on a female pokemon. easiest way to remember it is males pass on moves, females pass on natures and IVs (sometimes)
