What pokemon do you want in a hack?

Hello, I'm thinking of making a Pokemon Hack & I wanted your opinion which pokemon you would like as starters

To be honest I would like a choice of Ice/Dragon/Dark
so I chose bagon :)

well the best you need to do is the advantage to disadvantage like (fire->water->grass->fire) here what I have

(Electric->ground->flying->electric)
(psychic->dark->fighting->dark)
(Ice->Rock->Steel->Ice)

I prefer to chose larvitar as a starter since it's base stats are high

I think the three basic are the best water, fire and plant...... but different pokemon then usually :D

Try using A-Starter for the Advance Gen games. Hex all you have to do is search for the Pokemons values.

I'd probably choose [Oddish] + [Poliwag/Horsea] + [Mareep].

Oddish has a nice grass starting move [Absorb]. Does not need levelling up to learn type move.
Poliwag has . Does not need levelling up to learn type move.
[B]Horsea also has . Does not need levelling up to learn type move.
[B]Mareep I like Mareep. I always had one in Gold and Silver. Learns [Electric Shock] at lv.9, quite powerful for early stage in game.

I wouldn't recommend using a pokémon which is hard to raise. I don't think pokémon such as Larvitar and Trapinch are suitable for starting pokémon. More than likely their level will always be trailing, compaired to other party pokémon. That is, unless you're a super-patient-pokémon-training-machine!

But what the hell, lots of people seem to prefer a different starting pokémon, they must like a challenge in some cases.
