When you put two pokemon with seperate nature's in the daycare with everstones why aren't the eggs either of those nature's!?

Isn't it supposed to be a 50% chance if you give it an everstone? The programmer were smart about that. not only did they prevent same nature everstone holders they also got the double everstone method even without the same nature!

Really? I think I tried once to breed an Adamant Ditto and an Adamant Sneasel, but I don't remember exactly if I got most Sneasels Adamant.

If you give the male an Everstone, I'm pretty sure nothing happens, rather than the reverse effect. And yes, the Everstone only has an effect if given to a Ditto or the female.

the everstone on the ditto works only if the ditto is being used in place of a female...


the reason I mentioned reverse effect is because I learned it the hard way when I was everstone breeding and hatched 40 eggs... with literally NONE matching the nature of the everstone holder... (the holder was a male)......

either that's dumb luck or the REVERSE EFFECT...

It's dumb luck. A 1/25 chance in getting a single right nature is still very small.

Also, the Ditto doesn't have to be used in place of the female. You can still use the trick while breeding Ditto with a female.
