Well like the title says I'm making a desert storm team and I'd appreciate feedback (no matter how hurtful).

Tyranitar@shell bell
Sand Stream
Adamant
252hp/ 136spdef/ 124atk
EQ
Stone edge
DD
Icefang

Just the basic DD Tyranitar lead you'd expect from a desert storm team.

Garchomp@Wide lens
Sand Veil
(don't know nature for him)
Dragon Rush
Stone edge
Fire Blast
EQ

Anti-Skarm

Steelix@Iron Ball
Sturdy
Relaxed
252def/ 252hp/ 6atk
EQ
Gyro Ball
Stealth rock
Explosion

Thank you Anti-Pop this thing is amazing

Hippodown@leftovers
Sand Stream
Careful
136sp def/ 252hp/ 120def
EQ
Ice Fang
Stockpile
Slack Off

This is an expirement that will most likely be fired down.

Scizor@expert belt
Technician
Adamant
252spd/ 252atk/ 6def
Pursuit
X-Scissor
Iron Head
Brick Break/ AA / Swords Dance

Can't decide on last move but Technican+Pursuit=Pwnage
(hehehe steel isn't affected by sandstorm)

I'm leaving open the sixth spot because I know someone is going to tell me A pokemon I should insert.

Only Tyranitar is needed since it is the stronger of the two.

Also, where is your Special Sweeper?

Regirock anyone?

Regirocks base spatk is 50 I'd be better off with Tyranitar being a Special Sweeper.

TTar is probably your best bet, sadly. Maybe a rock polish and 3 special attacks? Not too sure :/

You can use some Gengar / PorygonZ / Alakazam for a Special Sweeper

TTar benefits from sandstream and can run a mega-novelty...or just do what you said :)

Oh I misread so what'd that look like.

So then

Tyranitar@Wide Lens
252sp atk/ 136hp/ 120spdef
Rock Polish
Dragon Pulse
Thunder
Blizzard

Kinda like a BoltBeamer? What nature should he have?

You can always run Boah, infact yeah run Boah,

Tyranitar@leftovers
Quiet Nature/Rash nature
252 HP /190 SP.ATT / 68 SPEED (W/QUIET) OR 68 ATT (W/RASH)
- Focus Punch
- Substitute
- Dark Pulse / Crunch
- Thunderbolt /Ice beam /Flamethrower

If your Garchomp dies your going to have a huge problem with skarm/ Random Physcial wall as do all sandstorm teams. Kills Blissey aswell due to it making 101 hp subs so Bliss cant break them with 1 seismic toss which allows you to focus punch it.

Also you should consider Cradilly with 92 sp.def Evs and Sassy Nature it gets up to around 451 sp.def which takes 35-43 % damage from Draco meteor from Specs Mence and easily recovers off the damage

Cradily is god. Not even kidding, that thing...I'd use that.

This is the Regirock I run on my team

Regirock@Leftovers / Leichi Berry
Trait: Clear Body
Nature: Adamant
EVs: 252 HP / 172 Defense / 80 Attack
- Stone Edge
- Earthquake
- Curse / Stealth Rock / Rock Polish
- Explosion / Rest

EDIT: this team is really starting to look like my Sandstorm team D: http://www.pkmncommunity.com/showthread.php?t=112536

Not saying those three don't have massive pwnage but they'd all take a hit from sandstorm. Gengar would be decent in double battles because of Levitate though.

Those Pokemon will barely take a real hit. So damage coming from weather doesn't really matter.

Cradily

- Barrier
- Mirror Coat
- Recover
- Energy Ball

is another way to go

To this day, I have not found one legal breeding chain that allows Barrier and Mirror Coat on Cradily. Do you know one?

Tentacruel learns Barrier through Level-Up and Mirror Coat through Breeding. So then you just pass both onto Cradily from a Male Tentacool/cruel.

This is probably the most suited Cradily set for your team. Toxic stall them, or Earthquake the incoming steels trying to block you. Stealth Rock can go instead of Rock Slide / Stone Edge actually, just for more team support.

ooh wow, wide lens garchomp? i love seeing new things ^.^ i suggest giving him hasty nature so that fire blast's power isn't reduced.

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that Empoleon is one such Pokemon who doesn't take Sandstorm damage. His speed sucks, but his special attack is fairly high so he could be a potential sweeper (although methinks he's better as a Special Wall, right?), if you tack on Agility to his moveset. I dunno, maybe something like this:

Empoleon
~Agility/Stealth Rock/Yawn (depending on whether you think speed will be an issue)
~Surf
~Ice Beam
~Grass Knot

I'm no expert, but there's my two cents for ya.

That's agilipoleon, of course with agility. I believe it runs modest with 4 HP / 252 Spd / 252 SAtk

Hmmm who should I chuck out for Empoleon though? Perhaps Gengar? What nature does Agilipoleon run?

Empoleon@Life Orb
nature: Modest
evs: 72 HP / 184 Spd / 252 SpAt
- Agility
- Surf / Hydro Pump
- Ice Beam
- Grass Knot

Agility means his poor Speed is no longer a problem and with Life Orb he can pose a decent threat with almost 460 Special Attack to power his attacks. Sounds impressive, but don't expect this to be sweeping until you've weakened your opponents team sufficiently.
