FEAR???

Can anyone explain what FEAR and PIE are? I'm seriously confused.

FEAR is an Endeavor + Quick Attack Rattata holding Focus Sash.
PIE is Phanpy w/Ice Shard + Endeavor, which obviously works better than FEAR.

Both are Level 1.

Why would you take level one pokemon into battle that's suicide with a nice side dish of being pwnd?

Let's put it like this.

You send in Starmie. Enemy sends in Lv. 1 Phanpy.
Starmie uses Surf. Focus Sash lets Phanpy live with 1 HP.
Phanpy uses Endeavor. Now Starmie has 1 HP.
Phanpy uses Ice Shard. Starmie dies.

And also, the moveset only works once, so don't get upset when you find out it's only a waste of a Pokemon Slot.

Yes but if I send it out against they're most annoying pokemon then I can continue to sweep they're team without too much difficulty and it's a freaking lvl 1 pokemon how embarassing is it to get killed by that when you spent hours getting a team with decent IVs, EV trained, and a good nature. That's alot of hardwork down the proverbial toilet.

Ice shard works like quick attack it always goes first unless the opponet uses it and is faster than you.

Wow. That would make me want to kill someone after I worked and EV trained my pokemon. =S

It basically fails, since most battlers with a brain will switch out after their pokemon got Endeavor'd. And Stealth Rock really messes everything up.

Focus Sash + Endeavor/Quick Attack Move/Quick Attack Move/Pursuit

Pursuit is for those switches mentioned in the post above.

iirc, the Ratatta line also can have pursuit, so there you go. Switching problem solved :D

I'm having problems with this again. My ratticate won't pass on any moves to the new rattata. Why does it hate me like this?

No, problem isn't solved. Both of these pokemon take damage from Sandstorm / Hail, which are becoming more and more common.

Hey is there another pokemon that raticate can breed with to get quick attack and Endeavor
