Dragon teams are not good at all; most of your team can be swept with ice attacks. Same goes for Ground teams. I'd suggest putting a variety of types into your team because in competitive play, this won't last long.

Omg. This is horrible. Whiscash is your ONLY defense against ice beam. Your natures are terrible. Your movesets aren't that hard to fix however. Theme based teams have to cover the expected weaknesses. For a good example of that, check out Azonic's sandstorm team which is..somewhere.

Whiscash
Oblivious
Adamant
- Surf
- Ice Beam/Stone Edge

Do not use Snore; it sucks, quite honestly.
But yeah, if you're looking for a better Pokemon go with Swampert who is infinitely better.

My new team im working on haven't done my Evs yet though:
Rhyperior @ Choice Band
Solid Rock
Adamant
- Megahorn
- Focus Punch
- Stone Edge
- Earthquake
lol modest lol...Rhyperior is a physical attacker-special attacks are a waste. It also needs solid rock to help survive stuff like EQ. This CB set hammers lots of stuff, especially skarm on the switch with focus punch.
Flygon @ Choice Band
Levitate
Jolly / Adamant
- Earthquake
- Rock Slide
- Dragon Claw
- Crunch
Roost isn't so hot, and taking away its best stat with relaxed isn't helping anything.
Whiscash
Oblivious
Lonely
- Surf
- Snore
- Earthquake
- Rest
I usually stop reading when I see snore...
Claydol
Levitate
Relaxed
- Rest
- Earthquake
- Ice Beam / Psychic
- Rapid Spin
claydol is a defensive pokemon :/ It's best as a spinner with psychic or IB for gengar switch-ins (to absorb rapid spin) and rest to heal. Gentle is lol since it needs defenses.
Dragonite
Inner Focus
Jolly
- Earthquake
- Fire Punch
- Dragon Claw
- Dragon Dance
Nuetral natures are made of epic fail. and DD with only one physical attack? lol no. That's the DDnite I used...
I'm not sure on the last one, i think ill use Torterra but im not sure on a move set
NO!
EDIT: Advice is apreciated :D
Starmie tears this team to shreads, as does weavile. You have claydol, so switch out 2 of your many sweepers for skarmbliss and your defenses are covered. speaking of which, where are they? Anything with HP ice / ice beam, etc. destroys nearly all your team, and nothing can really stopthe beamers. you need to have counters for these kinds of pokemon.

I believe you should keep your torterra and teach it Frenzy PLant. Also your Dragonite, it's really good.

For a Ground/ Dragon team. I would use these pokemon. Though Ice type attacks will be a horror. They can be countered though. Just keep that in mind.
Swampert
Hippowdon
Garchomp
Swampert
Claydol
Dragonite/Salamence

For the record, waterfall doesn't do much for dragonite, especially the dragon dancing variant. And claydol without rapid spin is a sad claydol.

ThePlaya, Claydol without Earthquake is an emo Claydol..

November 6th, 2007, 03:30 AM
well i edited and put rapid spin before you posted your post...i forgot he needs a rapid spinner.
And yeah he can go for fire/thunder punch or stone edge i think.......or thunder or fireblast.
EDIT:Yeah Shirashi in know....im putting some minor adjustments on it.

Well, yes, since calydol without rapid spin is like Bliss without softboiled kinda.
But anyhow, whiscash is usable, but yeah, swampert is better (mixpert FTW)

No you didn't :/
I'm a good 99% sure on thatm, but it's beside the point. Really, claydol needs either IB or psychic for gengar switch-ins, and psychic can even help with heracross switch-ins too, which you lol at with proper prediction. Rest for healing...since it needs it.

Cosmic power, for the record, isn't the best. Not on claydol at least, since it needs EQ, rapis spin, rest, and a special attack, leaving no room for it :/

November 6th, 2007, 04:01 AM
well yeah it does....but cosmic power on it will work. But then you need the moves that you just said....so im not sure but ill go with cosmic power.

Swampert used hydro pump! A critical hit! Claydol fainted!
In short, CHes totally destroy defensive stat-uppers, except cradily, which can quickly use recover.

Kingdra doesn't resist ice...
You need a bulky water like milotic...but it only adds to your boltbeam weak. Yipes. I'm a bit stuck on this one.

If you don't mind using BL Pokemon (which you probably don't, seeing as you have a Flygon) How about Ludicolo?
[Ludicolo] @ Wet Rock/Leftovers (preferably Wet Rock)
Nature: Modest
EVs: 152 HP/ 252 SpAtk/ 104Spd
Ability: Swift Swim (Rain Dish sucks)
- Rain Dance
- Surf
- Energy Ball/Grass Knot
- Ice beam
Energy Ball vs. Grass Knot is personal preference really; Grass Knot is better to hit the likes of Rhyperior and Gyarados, while Energy Ball hits them as well as Manaphy (if you come up against it), Vaporeon , and Lanturn with the same amount of damage.

Owned by ice attacks. u really shouldnt pick two types with the same main weakness
