Return is for STAB. Gyro ball is for already slow speed coupled with the Relaxed nature and Curse.

Lickilicky gets that awesome STAB on Explosion. Other than that, he's just a mini-version of Snorlax (Snorlax outclasses him). However, he's got an excellent movepool, great HP and defenses...but his speed sucks.

But don't Forget that, as of XD, Snorlax once again is able to use Selfdestuct.

Like me using Dunsparce over Togekiss, go ahead and use Lickilicky over Snorlax. It's your game. But, as with Dunsparce, don't overestimate its staying power.

lickilicky is awesome. good moveset, manageable attack AND special attack, and crazy bulk on him. with choice items, he can really just take hits and blow opponents away with supereffective hits.
