View Full Version : A little worried about my team.

So far, I'm using
Agiligross@leftovers
Agility
Meteor Mash
Earthquake
Zen Headbutt
Porygon-Z@Choice Scarf
Special Sweeper
Dark Pulse
Thunderbolt
Ice Beam
Tri Attack
Salamence@Choice Band
Physical Sweeper
Crunch
Earthquake
Dragon Claws
Stone Edge
As well as Blissey.
What I'm having trouble deciding is, what do I need, Skarm+Claydol or CMCune+Donphan?
Also, I have no fire attacks, and Porygon-Z doesn't seem all -that- powerful from using him some.
Thanks for helping, Oddball

Dragon Claws are teh smexorz!
Seriously, what are the EVs? IMO, Claydol works better than the metal birdy.

Um, no not really, the meta birdy is kind of awesome. Give Metagross a Life Orb, and is this a competitive team?

The nature's would really help.
Cune and Donphan would be useful and have be an bit more original. But what do you have for now?

Ah, I didn't mean Claydol, I meant Cresselia. Better HP, only sacrifices a bit more Defense, but still pretty solid.

Cresselia is a special wall, Skarmory is physical. Plus I hate legendaries.

I would say defiantly Cressilia and Donphan. Cressilia cuz its like very hard to capture so its sure to be good =0 And Donphan becuase well... I find that Donphans are very helpfull xD

The fact taht you;re basing a Pokemon ability on its difficulty to catch is pretty much saying you know nothing about its stats. It depeneds on what you want, and you alreayd have Blissey to special wall, so go Skarm.

With that kind of logic, Spiritomb must be the strongest non-event Pokemon EVER!!!

I cleared up 1st post, by the way. I don't know agiligross's EV's, I just went with the Agiligross spread. Also, pory-z is 252satk 252speed 6 hp, and mence is 252atk 252 speed 6hp. I'll be getting a Blissey last, but it's in no matter what. Mence's nature is Jolly.

Skarmblissdol blocks literally every attack in the game, or walls it rather. Except for seismic toss lol...just play against somebody who can use it right (*coughRichardSteelcough*) and you'll know why it rocks. this leaves you heracross weak, especially to CBcross though. Then again, suicune and donphan won't really stop that either.

So skarmblissdol then? Also, what about my no fire attack? I was thinking about swapping porygon-z with Infernape, but I want your input first. I also have no fighting attacks.

You might want a fighting attack for bliss...but fire isn't really that much of a problem. electric>Skarm, especially magneton.

The only electric attack I have is pory-z@ thunderbolt, and he's not really as great as I thought he'd be, which is why I condidered switching, since he'd take out skarmbliss.

You ACTUALLY thought Pory Z could beat blissey? Come again? Blissey only falls to nasty plot azelf, special sweeper-wise. Boah, McIceGar...maybe those would be better.

What's Boah and McIceGar?

*Points to Compiled guides*
Run HP ice over ice punch in D/P, and dark pulse over crunch for Boah. you should maybe read that...

Omg, look at Name and Lumine's avatars..O_o
Theres is also the Nasty plot Porygon-Z who could put a large dent in Blissey :/

Sorry to be a bother anti-pop, but I don't understand how HP ice works. Also, should I use McIceGar or Boah in this situation?I only have 1 slot unless I throw out Agiligross or Salamence.

So, what shall it be, McIceGar or Boah, and if anyone could explain how HP works that would be nice.

Hey, I'm on your friends list! Just for that, I'm gonna help ya.
Hidden Power (HP for short) is a move that varies in type & power (30-70). Its a great move that gives much needed versatility to special attackers, like Vileplume.
It is determined through the IV's. It is random, & hard to manipulate. But worth it.
By the way, it took me 5 months to get a good Hidden Power for my Vileplume.

If you want a SkarmBliss counter, and still want Fire and Fighting attacks, Mixape all the way!!
Infernape@Life Orb
Naive Nature
EVs: unsure, but a lot in speed, then split amongst Attack and Sp Attack
-Flamethrower
-Close Combat
-Swords Dance/Nasty Plot
-Grass Knot/Stone Edge

Not so much. lol, pory Z is fighting weak and Mence IS a dragon. Adding those tyopes would be adding to weaks, namely a Vire weak :/

So.. I kind of need to know so I can get back to building my team, but.. McIceGar or Boah?
Anti Pop Culture Warrior
November 8th, 2007, 11:22 PM
Depends...both are in compiled guiders. Gengar is a sweeper while Boah is a tank really. Eh, your choice. Watch out, as TTar is weak to EQ like metagross, and you'd be pretty Vire weak...
