Okay, my standard and kinda boring OU movesets have been kinda...well, boring lol
EDIT: THIS IS 3RD GEN!!!!! As always...
So I decided to invest in something that could be a big threat (lol probably not)...a choice banded snarlax. It's probably been though up before, but I was wondering if this might be a good set to use:
Snorlax (M) @ Choice Band
Trait: Thick Fat
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SDef
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Shadow Ball
- Earthquake
- Double-Edge / Return
- Hidden Power [Bug] / Rock Slide
And it has the defenses (more like HP) to take hits on the switch and also to use double-edge. thoughts?

Double Edge is powerful. Include that with the Stab + Choice Band and you have a pretty destructive Snorlax. However, that's if the Snorlax goes first with this. Are you sure this moveset is going to work? I mean it's normally slow, and that's what I'm worried about.
I would perfer Rock Slide. Besides, I realized how useless X-Scissor can be, so bug type moves are not that effective, and are only good on psychics and grass pokemon. Shadow ball already covers the psychics. Grass is easy to take out.
Nothing wrong with the Earthquake part, though.
And this Snorlax is going to work well, despite the slowness. Disregard the other comment. I believe this Snorlax has a quite balanced moveset, just need to take off X-Scissor. Do it if you wish, however.

Guess I didn't edit fast enough. this is 3rd gen, where celebi kinda runs rampant. Nothing like catching it on the switch trying to seed me. Was also considering focus opunch to catch the evil skarms on the switch, as that hurts 'em a lot. though now that I think about it, shadow ball does kinda nail celebi, so yeah, focus punch or rock slide?
And BTW, I know the prediction is required. It's pretty easy to pull of, really.

Okay then. It would be Focus Punch. Rock slide has a tendency to miss, and I know you'd hate to miss that once chance where victory is right in front of your face. Skarm can hardly do anything attack-wise, so Focus Punch would dominate it.
Oh and now that I see(Didn't look fast enough) I'd recommend return. I think it does just as much damage as Double edge, minus recoil. That really hurts, y'know. D:

Okay, so the final set would be...
Snorlax (M) @ Choice Band
Trait: Thick Fat
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SDef
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Shadow Ball
- Earthquake
- Return
- Focus Punch
Now I ask this? Would this not only work on Netbattle, but be a pretty potent threat? TTar would be OHKOed by focus punch, so I'm kinda likin' it lol

Also, I wish to say include Shadow punch to make use of the attack, but I don't think it can learn it, hence shadow claw.
It can be a deadly threat, as long as you stay away from fighting pokemon. D: I know it could prob survive a Cross Chop or some similar move of the sort, depending on it's defense but still.
But right now, the moveset is looking pretty good.

Eh, no shadow claw in ADV :) All the attacks are physical at least lol
And I think a focus punch on the switch would really not make machamp feel so good...lol, thanks for the help. I'll add this to me team.
any other comments are welcome ^_^
