These are a few Pokemon I've decided to try out. I don't know how to distribute their EVs yet, except for the usual 252/252/6 spreads. Anywho, here they are.

Kabutops @ Leftovers
Trait: Swift Swim
Adamant Nature
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spd / 6 HP
- Rain Dance
- Waterfall
- X-Scissor (against grass-types, most obviously.)
- Earthquake (against electrics who may take advantage of Rain Dance)

Breloom @ Toxic Orb
Trait: Poison Heal
Jolly Nature
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spd / 6 Def
- Spore
- Focus Punch
- Seed Bomb
- Stone Edge *angels sing in background*

Vespiquen @ Leftovers
Trait: Pressure
Brave Nature
- Attack Order
- Heal Order
- Sludge Bomb
- Power Gem

Needs work. Please help?

It relies on luck ok so that if one of your friend's works and another one doesn't work for you in the battle, causing you to lose, what would you do?
Edit: Who are calling n00b? Anti, sims, steel, name, iceman and probobly I can destroy you in battling.

I don't suggest Rain Dance cause people might take advantage of a Ludicolo.

Breloom @ Toxic Orb

- Seed Bomb
- Stone Edge *angels sing in background*

Looks alright but you sure you don't wanna try Adamant? see how you go with Jolly first

Vespiquen @ Leftovers
Trait: Pressure
Careful/Impish Nature
EVs: 252 HP / 6 ATK / 252 DEF
- Attack Order
- Defend Order
- Toxic
- Roost

Uhmm not too sure about Vespiquen since she's kinda a semi waller

Needs work. Please help?

Fixes are in bold, don't ask why I randomly chose those set/build for Vespiquen since I don't know about her much..

English ? I didnt understand that sorry.

All im saying is that if an Item that Increase's say a Physicle Move from 150 to 330 like Choice Band on a pokemon with insaine attack, Why would a Kings rock which increases attack with a crit on a 70 atk move to w/e be any diff ?

You see what im saying ? Choice band may have limitations yes but the atk potential is just huge compared to a crit on a mid atk move. Its basicly the same thing.

I wont spam this thread anymore arguing about it.

I still think regardless of the kings rock to put on nightslash

Life Orb will make it to more of an dangerous level of a sweeper.

Vespiquen @ Leftovers
Trait: Pressure
Impish Nature
EV: 252 HP/ 124 Def/ 124 Sp Def
-Attack Order
-Heal Order

Candymancan, "hax" doesn't mean "hacked". It's a term that battlers use to describe items that rely on luck. Items like King's Rock and Quick Claw are hax items because they don't work 100% of the time. Besides, King's Rock doesn't improve damage, it causes flinching at 12% chance. So please, get your facts straight before you give people advice, and more importantly, don't flame people who are correct.

If you're that fond of flaming that you have to do it on the very first reply to the thread, then just get out and stay out. We don't need people like you in Pokecommunity.

It's not really flaming... and that's kinda harsh to say.

Power Gem is a mistake. Notice the space there unlike the other attacks. >_>

Iceman3k

I'll tell you why hax items are banned.

- King's Rock summons a flinch WHEN A FLINCH ISN'T SUPPOSED TO HAPPEN IN THE FIRST PLACE.

- Brightpowder cause a 100% accuracy attack to miss when it's not supposed to. Lax incense does the same thing obviously.

- Quick Claw makes a slow pokemon go first WHEN IT'S NOT SUPPOSED TO.

It's items like those that make people angry, and that's exactly why people clause it, and in the Competitive Metagame, are banned items.

Choice Band, Choice Scarf, and Choice Specs, are Power Boosting items. They raise a designated Stat, but at the same time, the holder can only use 1 attack until they switch. They're not considered hax items, so do no refer to them as hax items.

It kinda got to me as a flame, but I'll admit, I was being harsh. It's just that some people think they know what they're talking about, and brag about it. I hate that. It is my thread after all, and I wanna keep it clean. A sincere apology to Candymancan, should he view this thread again.

Oh, okay. But I'm not too sure of Destiny Bond yet. She's pretty slow, so I don't think Destiny Bond will do too well. Any other attack possible for that slot? I wanted to give her something to cover her weakness to Flying and Fire, that's why I placed Power Gem there in the first place.

Listen for one im not flaming im stating my point towards and item i dont think should be banned. If you saw me flaming youd know it trust me on that kid which you will see soon. 2 HAX means HACKS you moron, iv noticed pokemon people tend to use terms that means one thing but they seem to make up another meaning to it which doesnt make sense for example

Larvitar "@" Leftover's. You do relise @ means AT which doesnt make sense but in pokemon i soppose it does but that doesnt mean its the true meaning.

Same goes with Hax it means hacks and if you played anything other then pokemon you would know.

I made a suggestion what i thought would work for your pokemon and i was the one who first posted here not him so where are you getting that he made the first post lol ?. People "like me" lol thats funny listen kid im not gonna argue with a idiot like you, like someone already stated here i didnt make any flaming comments i said what i thought about an item and if you dont like it well too bad go cry to your mommy.

You wanna keep going ? Cuss i can go all day

Also you can say you him and her ect can beat me in duel guess what i dont care lol, you can keep on thinking that but really i dont care lol your to insignificant for me to worry about lol. To me your nothing but a peice of trash talking trash

Maybe if you'd actually put some facts behind your argument, we'd consider it :/ And Iceman3k expalined it well. Choice band adds to the startegy of the game. Hax items are merely cheap.

Larvitar "@" Leftover's. You do relise @ means AT which doesnt make sense but in pokemon i soppose it does but that doesnt mean its the true meaning.

I can't belive you're actually venting about how @ Leftovers doesn't make any sense. OMG, this is pretty funny!

I usual;ly leave this up to the mods, but I HAVE to defend my friends on this. You did this in your own RMT threads to me and sims, to the mods in the thread in the communioty questions and feedback, and now here.

It's "flaming" niot "flamming." :/ but with no mods around, I guess I'll try to be a MATURE person and ignore your flames and derogatory comments.

With Breloom, spore puncher is nice, but adding sub won't hurt, since sleep clause is not fun. you also are gonna need to be wary of status absorbers, like CBcross with sleep talk, a common switch-in to breloom in 3rd gen. There'a also sleep clause, which can ruin breloom's fun.

With Kabutops...meh, I don't know much about it.
I'd take out X Scizzor though, try another physical attack.

Anti-pop, thanks plenty for the defense. I'd like to ask for your permission to add you into my friends list. May I?

Back on topic, if ever I'd replace X-Scissor, what should I put in its place? It seems to be the only decent attack for me to use against Grass-types.

Brick Break, Aerial Ace, Rapid Spin, Aqua Jet and Night Slash look like decent moves. Any possiblities there?

These are a few Pokemon I've decided to try out. I don't know how to distribute their EVs yet, except for the usual 252/252/6 spreads. Anywho, here they are.

Kabutops @ Leftovers
Trait: Swift Swim
Adamant Nature Not Bad, Consider though Eving in Speed to make up for the slowness.
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spd / 6 HP
- Rain Dance Gone Period.. Stone Edge here and nothing else.
- Waterfall
- X-Scissor Ok, I guess, Still, I can't help wondering if Night Slash would be better....(against grass-types, most obviously.)
- Earthquake NG... No Good. Can't learn.. Might be a good time to either add Night Slash or Another High Crit move here....(against electrics who may take advantage of Rain Dance)

Breloom @ Toxic Orb
Trait: Poison Heal
Jolly Nature
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spd / 6 Def
- Spore
- Focus Punch
- Seed Bomb
- Stone Edge *angels sing in background*

No recommendations here.. Good Move set in my book, again, the others might have something to say, so go with them in conjuction with mine,....

Vespiquen @ Leftovers
Trait: Pressure
Brave Nature Wrong... Impish here exclusively...
- Attack Order Defense Order.... Nuff said
- Heal Order
- Sludge Bomb The better chioce is Toxic, but if you're looking to do justice here, then I'll giev you credit for Sludge Bomb.. Good Move, Just not with her...
- Power Gem

Needs work. Please help?

Everything will be in Red and Bold..

To boot, I'm not here to flame or to discriminate, I'm an analyist and I enjoy helping people...

As for this Arguement on HAX... No Comment.

After looking at these three, Not bad. There is some room to improve, but overall... Good choices... Thanks for the privilege to comment for this post... HH

Kabutops @ Life Orb

Adamant Nature
EVs: 172 HP / 252 Atk / 28 Def / 56 Spd
- Rain Dance
- Waterfall
- X-Scissor (against grass-types, most obviously.)
- Stone Edge
Kabutops can't Earthquake, sadly =(
And Rain Dance Kabutops doesn't really need that much Speed. 210 to start is enough.

Breloom @ Toxic Orb
Trait: Poison Heal
Jolly Nature
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spd / 6 Def
- Spore
- Swords Dance
- Sky Uppercut
- Stone Edge *angels sing in background*
If you plan on running all Speed, then you have a better shot of just using Swords Dance. Otherwise, run with a defensive EV Spread.

Vespiquen @ Leftovers
Trait: Pressure
Brave Nature
- Attack Order
- Heal Order
- Sludge Bomb
- Power Gem

Needs work. Please help?

Hmm... I'll try Rapid Spin. No weakness to steel, hooray. Resistant to Forry's booming, hooray. :D

Oh, and by the way Lumine, I've seen the comparison between an Adamant Breloom and a Jolly Breloom. And Jolly proved to be the more useful nature to me in Sapph. I needed those good quick Spores so I could use Bulk Up. It helped a whole lot in surviving Aerial Aces. :)

Oh no, far from hammering, Anti-pop! Bulking Up first gave me enough defenses to survive a hit (with enough HP to survive probably 3 more with Leftovers), after which I knocked that Skarm clear into the sky with a Focus Punch. But I didn't switch out 'coz I had already made 4 buffs, so it would've been a waste. I didn't sweep the whole team with that Breloom though, but it did enough. Long story short, I won that battle.

BUT THAT WAS 3RD GEN. :D

The 4th gen Breloom was blessed with the ability to learn Rock-type attacks. I'm so happy... =']

Hmm... I guess Hammer Arm is/was a novelty move on Pert. Anyway, this wasn't really supposed to be all on a team. I just wanted to give Vespi a chance so that maybe eventually I could incorporate her into a team where her potential as an offensive wall could be put to good use.

Igf HP electric is for gyarados, rock slide is better for that...swampert needs some form of recovery IMO, which is why I use rest, and roar is good for annoying little CMcunes and the likes.

Oh, okay. But I'm not too sure of Destiny Bond yet. She's pretty slow, so I don't think Destiny Bond will do too well. Any other attack possible for that slot? I wanted to give her something to cover her weakness to Flying and Fire, that's why I placed Power Gem there in the first place.

Power Gem can work then if you had that consideration. But would it survive the attacks?

Candymancan, it seems the last warning I gave you because of your serious attitude problem hasn't helped you at all. Therefor I shall give you another. Even if you don't agree with someone else, you can still behave like a civilized person. Funny how you call others immature, but at the same time you're the one throwing insults at people.

Oh, and by the way, if you would have played Pokémon, you'd know that even if "Hax" means hacked in other games, in Pokémon it means twisting the odds or getting ridiculously lucky with added effects and the like.

THANK YOU SMARTIES! Now then...

It just occured to me we don't even know if Satsusen wants to use swampert O_O But if you do, I encourage you go with mixpert. Cursepert is okay, but not as good...

How does one properly utilize Swampert anyway? I've always made mine a Physical Wall-sweeper.

I'd give her full HP EVs, most likely. And with her defenses, yeah, I'm guessing she would. I'd avoid Rock as much as I can, though. :|

EDIT: SMARTIES-CHAN! Thank you! (Are you really just 10 yrs old? That's incredible... 0_o)

Swampert don't usually need Rock Slide but since I've never tried Swampy with Rock Slide I'm not going to argue there...

I was thinking..swap either EQ/ Hy Pump for Rest?

Swampert is too slow to sweep. It counter TTar very niceley, and takes a chunk out of skarmblissdol, mostly skarm. It can't really hurt bliss much, especially since levitators and flyers switch in like crazy against it, which is hydro pump's main use. It 2HKOs skarm, though I haven't run claculations for claydol.

It is mostly a tank really, and can PHaze too. With enough special attack, ice beam will be totally loling at dragons (and with enough defense and HP, swampert can take a hit easily from Cbmence and launch back IB for the OHKO). It was the best starter ever, though infernape now gives it a run for its money.

You know what Im thinking? Swampert will own in a Trick Room user team..and lets EQ stay since steel types are common nowadays (feed that to TTar hmm), oh plus the Ice Beam for Mence, Garchomp and all that jazz..

Blissey... THAT'S why that Swampert had Hammer Arm! Lol!

Okay, okay... So my old Pert wasn't exactly a "sweeper" per se. I guess I misused the term. I meant that it could take out a lot of enemies by itself. I think "tank" would've been the appropriate term. Sorry for the mix-up.

I've always loved Swampert, but felt too incompetent in using him competitively since I didn't know which one of his many builds to use in battle most efficiently. He became confusing to me, and I stopped using him altogether.

Follow-up: Could a mod please delete the unnecessary flame war posts and quotes from the thread, please? They kinda bring me down everytime I have to scroll past them. Thank you!

Well, mixpert is the best build IMO. Blissey probbaly won't be staying in long against swampert anyways, so yeah...
