DON'T TAKE IT WITHOUT PERMISSION!!!!

This tutorial will make us avaiable to change the palletes of almost all things on a rom.
But you must have patience.

*STOP* If you have a few time hacking or you're a n00b, avoid reading this.

//*Warning//* Always back up your ROM, always

This are the things you need:

VBA
Pkmn Rom
MadFenix Editor
Note Pad
APE

STEP 1
Open your ROM in VBA (R/S/E,RF/LG)
http://img161.imageshack.us/img161/1456/78540904ee2.png

STEP 2
In this case we are gonna change that^ text colors so go to
Tools -> Pallete Viewer
http://img66.imageshack.us/img66/4071/84258817lv1.png

STEP 3
Note that the text colors appeared on the left so choose one, and the RGB valors will appear in the left down corner like here it's shown:
http://img136.imageshack.us/img136/3949/30503300xg4.png

STEP 4
Those 3 valors, type them in Note Pad like this:
http://img252.imageshack.us/img252/3468/25871581re9.png

STEP 5
Then open MadFenix Editor
and open the same rom you opened on the VBA
http://img206.imageshack.us/img206/7352/92374891tw7.png

STEP 6
Then in the low part, type your valors(you've already written in note pad) there:
http://img155.imageshack.us/img155/7169/10qt0.png
And click Find Matches!

Then a lot of Results will come
http://img228.imageshack.us/img228/5218/11sn7.png

STEP 7
Then click where the red arrow is and see how the palletes change, compare them with the VBA palletes, if they don't coincide, continue going down until they coincide with the VBA's like this
http://img115.imageshack.us/img115/5017/13ug2.png

FROM HERE IT CAN DIVIDE IN TWO PARTS: The EASIER and the not EASIER

PART 1: EASIER
You can go over APE and the offset you found (in this case E9CA30) you type in APE like this:
http://img138.imageshack.us/img138/4963/parte11mf7.png

STEP 2 - PART 1
Then you can change colors in a scale from harder to softer(in this case). After you change colors, click save. and..... (go to Final Result)

PART 2

I'm mexican, but I speak a little french.
I go to my classes every tuesday and thursday.

Umm... the MadFenixEDitor is known also by its original name... SNESPal. It can be found around older ROM hacking sites. Everything is same, just the name differs.

WTH.. - -'
1. MadFenixEditor is a rip-off of SNESPall
2. This method kinda sucks :-\
3. To easily edit the pallete of 'ANYTHING', just export them with VBA, import them in APE, Search and edit.. Simple as that..

So did I made a mistake by considering this tool SNESPal? Or just partly mistaken as you say it's a rip-off? Anyways, I use this method sometimes, but I experienced a BIG trouble when I accidentally edited wrong data. I recommend to either use APE or be VERY careful doing it this way.
