Fixing the berry glitch?

OK, exactly how do you fix the berry glitch, anyway? I tried the method found on Serebii, but my Ruby version just stopped and never detected any change. Is there something I still need to do?

What method? Be more specific, there are a lot of methods to fix it.

I hooked it up to LeafGreen and tried to transfer the fix from there.

EDIT: Um... never mind. It seems to be working OK now.
