Shop with Master Balls for sale?

My mate told me it was and even showed me it but I wanted to make sure it was real and he hadn't cheated.

You can't buy the following in a shop in GSC:

1. Master Balls
2. Rare Candies
3. Poke Balls that steal the opponent's Pokemon
4. Evolution stones (although you can in RBY)
5. Pretty much anything else aside from the usual Poke Ball through Ultra Ball, mail, Potions, status healers, et cetera.

So, no, a Rare Candy shop doesn't exist, even in Saffron City. Unless, of course, you use a cheating device, but the codes to use to buy Rare Candies will apply to pretty much any shop.

However in GSC you CAN get Masterballs from the Radio Station iff all the numbers in one of your ID numbers match the lucky number. This is the only way to legally get more Masterballs than the one you get from Prof. Elm

I would say that it is either a glitch, or your friend cheated.

I checked the games coding, nothing would support a random glitch turning into a Masterball...

actually there is another shop that sells evolution stones, and it is the celadon department store in FRLG, as well as RBY. pretty handy for those evolutions in RSE

Note the first line of the quoted material: you can't buy the following in a shop in GSC. I never said anything about RBY or FrLg, but to be honest, I really don't think it matters, considering I was referring to the various weird things people insist you can buy in GSC. =/

Also, I'm quite amused by the fact that you've ignored the little parenthetical statement ("although you can in RBY") that I mentioned in the same line you're trying to correct.
