Okay I used an IV calculator to figure out the IVs of my newborn Magbys. EVERY THING was the same on each of them save for HP even though they had different natures and one or two differences in HP.
The Magmortar mother (I think) has an HP IV of 31, because I got it from PBR and assume that no EP points were used on them or something.
I have read the Breeding Guides and I thought I got it, but I'm doubting myself.
So what I need is...
*Brief overveiw of what IVs are and how to calculate them.
*What EP are. (I though I knew, but again not so sure.)
*If I try and calculate the IV of a pokemon that already has EP but I don't know how many for each stat, what do I do?
Random: How do I get Smergale to work? Do I really have to find a trainer's or wild pokemon that have the move I want and take the chance of sketching the wrong move?
