I don't know about you, but it is very easy to avoid getting trapped by magnezone with a bit of prediction.

Wide Lens works well your Gengar Set. Or Focus Sash. With the rising usage of Magnezone, I would say Shed Shell is an option. But Leftovers works too. I agree with Anti that Fire or Thunderpunch should be used over Ice Punch. More coverage.

Um, no offense Loquacity, you might not know Anti-Pop very well, but I dont think he was being sarcastic. I dont get whats wrong about that post. Also Thunder Punch or Explosion over Zen headbutt on Metagross, and give him a Life Orb. Gengar wants a Focus Sash or a Life Orb or Choice Specs

The movesets are stable. Though Skarmory probably likes Shed Shell to avoid Magnezones. It saved my butt once.

Gengar likes Wide Lens to benefit from the low accuracy of Hypnosis and Focus Blast. Thunder is another option but isn't widely used. Only on a Wide Lens set though.

evilcheese, no mini-modding. It was obviously a mistake. I'm a fan of Leftovers, but if you feel Magnezone is a threat (which it is becoming) then go with Shed Shell.

I personally used to switch dugtrio into physical attacks while magneton came in in ADV. lol, EQ FTL. But seriously, if you fear the magnet thing, I'd run sub and you can roar it away. skarm needs its recovery.

Im with Anti-Pop, I used a Skarm who survived a Thunderbolt actually and roared. It was pretty screwed because a Probopass came out next and I was low HP. But it still needs Leftovers. (Seriously Probopass? Bad Lcuk)

Seems reasonable. Most people won't expect a Magnezone unless they already know you've got one, but a sub is quite a good option. Although with Substitute and Whirlwind it will lack either Brave Bird or Roost.

And Garchomp is actually more threatening with Yache Berry on the Swords Dance set.

Actually, he's right. IMO. No use in changing it if it's wrong. Leftovers is another option, krazypoop, but I >3 Life Orb on it as well. ;)

To be honest, Wide Lens provides such as a low boost, Focus Sash is way better. So krazypoop, use a Focus Sash on Gengar. ;)

probopass can taunt, giving him a nasty opportunity to set up defensive moves since skarm's only attacking move does about 1% to probopass, so i would go shed shell personally
