Ok i dont normally do this, but my team has gone through some renovations..

Salamence@Focus Sash
nature: Adamant
evs: 120hp/252atk/136spd
- Dragon Claw
- Dragon Dance
- Earthquake
- Fire Blast

Yep DD mence

Heracross@Choice Scarf
Adamant Nature
252 ATT / 152 SPEED / 104 HP
- Stone Edge
- Close Combat
- Sleep Talk
- Megahorn

Ive been wanting to try one of these out, i tested it on shoddy and is seemed to work very well. Switch in on a status and abuse guts. Sleep Talk because sleep is the only status that stops heracross, well not for long lol

Starmie@Choice Specs / Life Orb
Timid Nature
252 SP.ATT / 252 SPEED / 6 HP
- Grass Knot
- Ice Beam
- Thunderbolt
- Surf / Hydro Pump

This is Dark_Azelf's excuse for cramming every elemental type move his team lacks onto one pokemon lol. Anyways modest nature is so so tempting but unfortunately i cant afford to be outsped by Gengar and the like.

Claydol@leftovers
Relaxed Nature
252 HP / 114 DEF / 144 SP.DEF
- Stealth Rock
- Rapid Spin
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge

Rapid Spinner and Stone Edge on here for Weavile.

Skarmory@Shed Shell ( << Woot no more Magnezone)
Impish nature
252 HP / 238 DEF / 20 ATT
- Brave Bird
- Roost
- Spikes
- Whirlwind

Brave Bird so it can actually do damage when called for and its only hope against TauntriDos /Bulky Gyarados, Drill Peck sucks anyways :P

Blissey@leftovers
Bold Nature
252 HP / 252 DEF / 6 SP.DEF
Trait: Natural Cure.
- Ice Beam
- Seismic Toss
- Thunderwave
- Softboiled

lol UNDERUSED POKEMON ARE SO FUN !!!! XD

Just a small note : I dont take kindly to stupid rates (AKA : - Wht IS C14yd01, Put Hyp3r Be4mz on 17 ) , either know what your talking about or just dont bother.

Now for people who know what they are talking about ill listen to all rates.

Thanks in advance

Blissey (F) @ Leftovers
Trait: Natural Cure
EV's: 148 HP / 252 Def / 104 SAtk / 4 Spe
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Ice Beam / Thunder Wave / Sing
- Protect / Softboiled
- Seismic Toss
- Wish. ;)

I never had Wish-Bliss, although i could use that it would help Gyarados with Sandstream and Stealth Rcok, i wont be able to get seismic toss on it again due to my emerald being dead....hmmm i will consider that though

Also, Blissey kind of needs Aromatherapy...

Yeah! That set DA had sucked [/sarcasm]

Why do we always try to fix things that aren't broken?

Skarm doesn't need all that defense though. Put some in Atk.

Meh you know i dont like running that on Blissey this gen as it takes up a move and then ill be walled by Sub-Gengar also it has Garchomp to worry about switching into a thunderwave then using it as set up fodder, id rather put Stealth Rock on it and i think that fails lol

Um, aromatherapy over Twave is what I run. It is quite possibly blissey's best set. IMO

unfortunately my Emerald is broke, so i kinda cant get Aromatherapy and Seismic toss, and im not a fan of running it without S-Toss.

any more suggestions anyone ?

Aromatherapy is an Egg Move DA. So you can still get it.

I know, i meant seismic toss and Aromatherapy on the same moveset will be a problem.

Yes. But he says he doesn't want to risk getting rid of Seismic Toss because you can't get both. He would risk losing it, then. ;)

I would honestly rather have aromatherapy than seismic toss. A lot of people run only ice beam on bliss anyways.

Then bulky waters say hi, i might run Bolt-Beam, Aromatherapy and Softboiled.

Also im not entirely sure about Skarmorys EV spread smogon says 96 ATT / 252 HP / 156 DEF / 4 SP.DEF. But im kinda Meh about that, doesn't seem defensive enough to me.

Actually, I like the spread, But Anti has a different opinion, so just go with the one you think is better. ;)

Notice that is an offensive spread, just like everything 4th gen...you aren't going to last long unless you give it 196 or more Def EVs...or I'd recommend it

Yep ive done some damage calculations and made some changes.

- Added Claydol and removed Boah
- Changed Skarmorys Evs

Well, about bulky waters, milotic is walled by them and people still use that set ;) Bliss can just stall against them and they'll be forced to switch, so it wouldn't matter. IMO, boltbeam is kind of failish on bliss, but it's your call.

You can't decide Between boah and Claydol, can you? lol

Nope, i cant decide XD

One takes out walls which i have a problem with.

The other Rapid Spins away spikes and stealth rock which i nearly lost my last match because of Gyarados being weak to it. Then after setting up its own Stealth Rock, Claydol just generally does nothing for the rest of the match and is used as set up fodder because it cant attack AT ALL lol

Don't spam this thread with posts like that. Say something relevant to the team or don't say anything at all. Take that sort of conversation to PMs if you must.

Ok ive moved my team about abit.

- Removed Gengar added Starmie because generally Gengar doesnt do much apart from miss its Hypnosis or Focus Blast hang on with focus sash, miss again then die lol

- Added Heracross removed Gyarados, im not to impressed with gyarados lately to be honest and i need a good status absorber and it abuses Guts whats not cool about that lol ??

Also could do with a bit of help with Starmies Item....

Mike™

What job are you expecting Starmie to do? Rapid Spinner, or Special Sweeper with Choice Specs?

Starmie is rather.. Fragile. I wouldn't go Life Orb, then. Choice Specs would be of more use.

Its not that fragile, base 85 defenses isnt that bad ....

Only problem is that i cant find a damage calc for Grass Knot and see what it does to some standard pokemon...

Errmm anyways i may go modest for the extra power, bliss or Heracross can always switch into Gengar unless its a McGar but they arnt too common, and i think ill go with specs because specs and modest will do a heck of a load of damage If i put Hydro pump on it (35 % Damage to standard Max Hp/4 SP.DEF Bold Blissey)

Mike™
December 2nd, 2007, 01:03 PM
Damage: 338 - 397
Damage: 99.12% - 116.42%. It does that to Swampert with Grass Knot and Choice Specs attached. MetalKid's Damage Caculator is what I used. (http://www.metalkid.info/Pokemon/OnlineProgram/Calculators/DamageDP.aspx)

Oh i must of used it wrong, it said it does 1.35 % damage to tyranitar =/

Is that with Modest or Timid Nature ??

if thats with Timid then im defiantly going Modest...

It says a neutral (as in speed boosting nature) or positive (as in sp.att or att boosting nature).

Now what nature, actually i could go timid and expert belt so i dont have my hp drained off by life orb

If you want an all-out sweeper starmie, run choice specs. IT's probably the best starmie can be used.

And Itachi, starmie is in no way fragile.

yep it surprised me when it survived an Earthquake from Garchomp, i was like wow 0_o

Ill probably run specs as nothing will particularly like switching in on that unless they are some form of UBER-tistic special wall like blissey or just full out resist or are immune to the attack.

EDIT : Ive got a good new Claydol now. Better attack Ivs but poor Sp.Att ivs so i put stone Edge on it.

EDIT 2: Removed Garchomp added DD mence as a lead.
