I'd use Stone Edge and Waterfall for best coverage on Gyarados.

Um, lol

The best coverage is actually quakeslide (EQ and stone edge in this case) or ice fang and EQ. And that gyara fails against bulky waters terribly. Besdies, RR's set is fine. I love when people try to fix sets that AREN'T BROKEN.

Spikes over SR on skarm though. It's a bit of personal preference, but 3 layers of spikes >>>>> SR because it does way more damage in most cases ;)

I would give Electivire Thunder Punch instead of Thunderbolt because Electivire's attack stat is higher than its Special Attack.

Claydol
Nature: Relaxed (+Def -Speed) He's not very fast to begin with.
-Earthquake because Earthquake to hit every Pokémon for at least neutral damage.
-Psychic because psychic however is usable for the occasional Gengar switch ins which occur on a somewhat common basis, since Gengar along with Dusclops are the two core ghosts used to block Rapid Spin.

Tbolt is for skarm killing mostly, though Tpunch works just as well (if not better) than bolt.

Thunder Wave/Counter/Ice Beam I totally love Counter on her, its so evil.I think I will!, I think I will still use Charge Beam and Ice Beam(BoltBeam)plus, the stats raise isn't something to be ignore.Does anyone note any big weakness?

You can't really run boltbeam and counter on bliss...it just wouldn't work...IMO

Gengar can take down 4 of your pokes, and watch out for Bolt Beamers, but otherwise else you;re good.

Dont quite remember, I've played two. I would give Gengar a Focus Sash, but thats just me.

Thats a nice team you have there. Very standard, but nice. Well rounded. If you got smashed by a Nasty Plotter, then maybe you should add another (P)Hazer. One that can take Special hits would be nice.

Yeah my gengar has focus sash. Wide lens seems in vain when it only helps Focus Blast.

@SpaceMuffin - You also need to understand that Tbolt is 20 power higher than Thunderpunch.

@SpaceMuffin - You also need to understand that Tbolt is 20 power higher than Thunderpunch.

But it does make a difference between a Electivire using Tbolt with a SAtk: 195(lv. 50);289(lv. 100) / and Tpunch with an Atk: 251(lv. 50);345(lv. 100). Which will hurt more? Regardless of what the attacks power is, it all depends on what stat the poke is good at.

(Atk power) + (Atk stat) = (total damage) - (foe's defense) = (how much it hurts)
(x2) if it is super effective
(x0.5) if it is not effective

For example, its like giving Blissey earthquake, it ain't going to cause any major damage, because it isn't supposed to be an attacker, but a special wall or a cleric. If a Blissey used earthquake it wouldn't hurt much, even if it is super effective.

You seem to be counting out the factor of SPECIAL defense. Skarmorys specisal defense is lower than its physical defense, Thunderbolt hits it much harder.

There's a reason Thunderbolt is used on Electivire: to ensure Electivire isn't walled by Pokemon with high Defense.

Only if it is a Skarmory killer would it need Tbolt.

But it can go both ways. I was talking to CosmicWaffle in RL and he says that he would favor Electivire be more of a atk based pokemon. Although you could have a special move on him if you want. (CosmicWaffle has beaten every pokemon game ever made and has all his pokes at lv.100; except Diamond: pokes at lv. 75)

Plus, I was only giving a suggestion.

Well Skarmory killing is a key part of any strategy, and it csan OHKO most things that Thunder Punch will anyways.
