breeder question.

im thinking about becoming a breeder, but i really dont understand iv's much. so if a pokemon that was ev trained in defense was breeded, if it breeded would that effect the hatched pokes defense iv's?

EV Training does not effect IVs so no it would not make a difference

IVs for the most part are half passed down half randomly generated. It's a long and slow process to get the desired results, but if you have enough patience then I say go for it

okay, now i just need to know whats so good about Iv's, if you can just ev train?

A max IV + ev'd T-Tar has max atk while the 0 IV + ev'd T-tar has lowest T-tar atk, and the difference between the t-tar in atk after ev'd would be ~30
