Awhile back when I had Yellow, I encountered rare candys for sale in the Elite 4. I didn't buy it because I thought it was like a potion.

That's impossible, unless you hacked your game or suffered from a weird and really nice glitch.
Can you explain more?

I restarted my game 6 or 7 years ago and the rare candy stuff wasn't there anymore.

not impossible..theres a hack of yellow where every pokemon is catchable and rare candys can be bought at the league...i have it on psp

Hacking is stupid, just beat the game the right way. But I always wanted to buy a rare candy.

Yeah, it was hacked by the last person. By reseting the game, I presume things will return to normal.

Darn! That would've bee cool to buy rare candies that fry your game =P

Someone was definitely hacking a bit before they sold/trade the game to EB. Don't worry. Simply reset your game (if you haven't already) and everyone will be normal once again. :D
