Assasins Creed

Anyone played it yet? I don't have a 360, but I am think about getting one, and this game for Christmas. How's it like?

It's a really good game. Granted, it's nothing like what you think it'll be. But still, the idea is pretty good for what it is.

Some people liked it, others hated it. But personally, I liked the way the game played.

Well is it like a quick moving stealth game (kill, and get out). Also how is the way you fight, if you were to compare it to another game? (Just trying to get a general idea)

The combat mostly consist of you countering your opponent’s moves or to attack when the guards are just in a circle around you. You could also use throwing daggers, but you don't get those until later in the game. For assassinations you will use the hidden blade to take them out and I think it's the only way to complete the assassination [haven't tried it with other methods as I try to get the kill and then get the hell out of there.] Note that before you get the game that it will get repetitive as you are basically doing the same thing over and over again.

People have been reporting countless crashes on the PS3 version of Assassin's Creed. IMO, if you want a stable version that actually works, get the 360 one.

But yeah, reviews have been all over the place for this game, but personally, I like the idea.

Looks like a fantastic game! I can't wait till it comes out on PC!

Personally I love the game. The concept is great, the story line seems good so far and characterisation is interesting. It's also just enjoyable to stroll around, climbing buildings and helping the citizens.

The leaps of faith are awesome, but my most memorable moment so far is chasing down a target in a crowed street, jumping onto them and stabbing them in the neck.

Good times, good times.

It's amazing, granted the missions are a bit repetetive but It's a pleasure just to be clambering about the buildings.

The storyline is very immersive but there is a very unsatisfying cliffhanger at the end, there will obviously be a sequel.

I love the game! I never get tired of playing it. The fights can get a little easy at times, but sometimes they can get a little tougher when you can't pull of a counter. Also one particular part in the game that is hilarious is when you are riding a horse into Jerusalem and all those men are walking in a row and you knock the first guy down they all fall down the hill like dominoes. XD
