There are 4 ways to play SSBB. Which way will you play? Or will you master them all? XD

If you don't know the controller names and everything, click here (http://www.smashbros.com/en_us/gamemode/various/various01.html).

Is this for the new one coming out?

If so whats with Classic and gamecube?

I'll probably be using WiiMote + Nunchuk.

I will try and master them all. Mwahahahaha. But if I had to choose, I'd choose the Wii Remote+Nunchuck

Yep... It's for the new one that'll come out in a few months. What do you mean by your Classic and GameCube question? O_o

Anyway, I'm mainly going to be playing with my GameCube controller since I'm already used to it from playing SSBM too much. I'm also going to play with Wii Remote a bit since it's obvious why.

I'll most probably end up using the GameCube controller, but I might try out the other control schemes as well, like the Nunchuk and Wii-mote one, since I got used to using that type of control scheme for Naruto: Clash of Ninja Revolution (assuming that that control scheme works in similar ways for both games). So, erm, yeah. It depends?

Because its a Wii game.

So I'm surprised they are possible controllers for this game.

Well, I think they offered the Classic and GameCube controller schemes to satisfy the needs of those who don't want to use a more 'gimmicky' sort of control scheme, like the Wii-mote and Nunchuk set-up. Although, I'm sure that there are other games which provide control schemes involving the Classic controller, and perhaps the GameCube controller as well, so I don't see why this is so, erm, surprising.

The Wii Clasic Controller (http://wiimedia.gamespy.com/wii/image/article/746/746735/wii-classic-controller-20061118030320525.jpg) was made for games from the Wii Store where you can buy classic games [i.e. Super Mario 64] and the Wii allows the Gamecube controller to be used because the Wii can play GC games. Both games won't work with the new remote [at least I don't think so], so that is the reason why there are more than just one remote. SSBB is the only game that I can think of that will alow the use off all the controllers [except for the zapper].

I really want to try it out with the Wiimote, but I'm not opposed to using the GCN controller.

My personal preference would be the Gamecube controller. Although if you can master each controller, then you can adapt to any situaltion. Like if your Wiimote breaks or malfunctions, you can use the GC controller as a backup or vice-versa. Most likely, you will have lost one controller type and are forced ot use the other types. The GC is my main however, so that is where my vote stands.

I think people should try all of them to see which one they work with the best but I'll definitely start with the Gamecube controller since its the most familiar.

I'll try the Wii Remote and the Nunchuck, but I have a feeling the game is going to play better using the GC Remote.

The Wii remote and the Nunchuck. I dunno, I just think there's something awesome about using both, so no special reason.

My roommates and I are going to be Brawling it up with four Gamecube controllers, for two main reasons.

1) We are used to Melee and hope the control scheme on the Gamecube controller doesn't stray too far from Melee's.
2) We don't have the money for three more Wiimotes/Wiimotes & Nunchuks/Wiimotes & Classic Controllers.

I will probably end up using a Gamecube or classic controller as Smash Bros has always been more of a button-mashing game to me and I don't think using the Wii+Nunchuck will feel right to me.

I'll give them all go, but as of now I'm decided on the GC controller. The only thing that's putting me off though is that the experience won't be as new, so I might give the Remote & Nunchuk a go.

I'll try them all. Probably start with GC controller first, then move on to the others.

Probably GameCube, but I can imagine myself trying the Wii Remote ones.
