It's happened to every gamer before. You love a game series so much, you prctically know everything about it. But then you realise: "OMG! I didn't notice this before!" The point is very simple. If you've just realised something about a game you love or any game in general, post your findings. Chances are, someone else will not have known this. You may even end up opening someone's eyes to watch for things like this. So let your findings roll in! Be sure to state the game's name.

Okay, so you all know about Nintendo and Sega having a partnership, right? Mario and Sonic are now rivals and share a game together. Sonic even stars in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. But did you know that there is actually a symbol of this partnership? The oh so loveable Pokemon, Manaphy resembles a chao from Sonic! Look closely. Those two antennae are similar to those on the head of a chao. They both are small blue creatures. (Although there are chao who are different colors.) Even the balls at the tips of Manaphy's antennae are the same color as those on the tip of a chao's antennae.

The more you know......

That's actually a pretty interesting point. And it's not like they look remotely similar, they look practically the same. I'm 'experienced' with both Chaos & Manaphys, and I've never noticed that!

...am I the only one who thinks that they don't lookalike?

I see the head shape and colour similarities but... that's more or less it. oo;

I find plenty of things out that I didn't know before when it comes to games. 8D; I love looking up things that weren't obvious, but are interesting all the same.

i dont know if you mean gamewise or glitchwise, but i will provide it anyway.

Gamewise: didnt know that Sonic and Mario are now big rivals. i guestt the Mario/Sonic at the olympics game shows that.

Glitchwise: on Sonic 1, i didnt know you could go through a solid wall in Marble act 2! when you are on the platform going over the lava, hold down and you will go through the wall!

Labyrinth act 1 and 2: when finishing the level, go past the starpost until you go out of the scene, then hold down and the game crashes.

While exploring YouTube, apparently there's an unused boss in the memory of Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door. (Paper Mario 2) It seems to be the Dark Atomic Boo. Apparently, it was the response to having all the regular Boos become one and the Dark Boos in the Polshey Sanctum were supposed to do the same. Why it was removed is yet another mystery of the video game world. I wonder if its possible to hack a battle encounter with it......

OMG! It makes so much sense! I never knew that...

For me (and every Kingdom Hearts fan out there):

Did you know that the names of Organization XIII members are their real names, just jumbled up and an "X" added?

Xemnas = Ansem X
Roxas = Sora X

The real names of the rest have yet to be revealed, but when they are, I'm sure they'll tie into their Org. names.

I already knew that one.

Sonic 3 Level Select: going onto 2p vs act 2, you go onto Bonus Stage. when you finish that stage, the name becomes Doilus Stage. very strange, to say the least.

I never knew how many things from the original Paper Mario were recycled in Paper Mario 2.

And also, during your first fight with the Shadow Queen, (Peach form) if you listen closely to the music, its actually a sirien call. She's the queen of the Shadow Siriens and she wants you to be her servant. Siriens, in mythology, use a song to make people their slaves. Listen to the music, and you'll see that's exactly what she's trying to do.

Off-topic: I just got killed on Level 99 of the Pit of 100 Trials in Paper Mario: TTYD. Stupid Wizzerd used a Stopwatch and then made itself huge. Two of them made themselves huge and ganged up on me! I was so close to Bonetail! Wah.
