Yes it is a place where you can chat battle and swap pokemon.Within a radius that is.It comes with a pack (pak) that comes in fire red/leaf green... :)

30 feet?!
That`s only like 2-4 blocks (Not counting Streets)
I`m lucky that all my friends(Real friends) live within 3 blocks of my house!
