Who would win the sidekick battle.

Well sweetie, I would say Luigi for the win! XD For the fact he's similar to Mario, except he can jump higher, float in the air, and run on water, for a little bit. XD

Luigi. Aside from Tails being eight (though everyone in that damn universe is extremely underaged), he hasn't had many oppurtunities to shine and prove himself as an equal to Sonic. Luigi, though many games focus on him being a secondary character, has had times where he's been able to prove himself (Luigi's Mansion being the main one).
I'm basing this off a pure fight, excluding Tails' machines and such.

I've ALWAYS loved Luigi better than Mario, but Sonic was my first video game love. I gotta go with tails. He can fly, after all :P

Really tough choice. Tails would win hands down if this topic was a bit older (IE: before Luigi's Mansion), but Luigi's been made playable in so many recent games and is just awesome in them, he gets my vote.

Also, he's recently become a second main for me (after Kirby, of course) in Melee. Now if Tails makes it into Brawl, this may be debated again.
