POKéMON GAMMA PROJECT
by col_hacker

------------------------

.:: INTRODUCTION ::.

Darkness has fallen over the region of Hahen. News reports tell of Pokémon that have been seen as soulless, violent ones, wreaking havoc on wherever they turn up. The Gamma team has been trying to help, but secretly, they are actually the ones turning the Pokémon into Gamma Pokémon. You have been moved from Sinnoh to Hahen to come help as you have successfully beaten all 32 gyms and the Elite Four in every region, thus becoming a legend in Pokémon history. Prof. Oak has come with you, but your Pokémon are at risk of getting captured by the Gammas, so you must leave them behind and choose new ones.

.:: BUGS ::.

http://i102.photobucket.com/albums/m101/GOOSE112/bone.gif Trying to get the ROM to work in VBA
http://i102.photobucket.com/albums/m101/GOOSE112/bone.gif There are places you can't access because of messed up movement tiles (for example: in the last gym, you can't get back an easier way)
http://i102.photobucket.com/albums/m101/GOOSE112/bone.gif Some palettes are messed up

------------------------

.:: RELEASES ::.
There isn't one yet. Basically has no scripting
done. City and route names have been edited.
But ends pretty much once you reach Quarry
City. (Because then it looks like normal Pokemon
FireRed with different names.)

.:: HACKING TEAM ::.
So far I have no one except EarthsVisitor might
help me somewhere.

uhhhh.....how can i put this gently......

the mapping is an eyesore and attrocious....they're just small edits of the existing maps....

too many flowers in route a and the town.....

maybe u shud consider completely scraping these maps and restarting w/ blank ones to try and get a good start going...

I noticed with your maps that you don't leave any areas of short grass- It makes your maps look rather uniform and boring. Deal with that and I fell the quality of your maps will be improved. Also with the maps start from scratch- It really does make a difference.

Thanks all you guys.
This is my first hack so I will do those things.
I didn't think about it until after.

I'll edit and put up a new
set of maps.

Thanks for the advice.

yea, I would cut down on the masses of flowers but, I like how you are maintaining the "integrity" (dont know a better word) of the original games.
