What did you do to get all the starters in blue and red?

Can you remember what you did to get all the starters in blue and red?
When i realised that you could only pick 1 starter Me and my Brother had an idea.
I started over 18 times!
In that way i could get 6 bulbasaur's, 6 charmanders and 6 sqruitles
So i started over, trade my pokemon to my brother and start over again.

We where busy with that a whole day :P
But now be both had 3 bulbasaur's, 3 charmanders and 3 sqruitles
So we could let them, evolve without losing it :)


So... what did you did.??

Simple. I bought Yellow ;)

I bought blue and then traded between them

Trading and restarting are the only way to do it. Im not a big fan of that.

Thus I got Yellow instead.

I started a new game and pick that starter then in my blue version I grab the other starter and trade it to my red version then i start another new game in my blue to get the other 3rd starter. ;)

Just traded between the two games Red and Blue, as simple as that.

I only had Pokémon Blue and one gameboy so I got an N64 and Pokémon Stadium!

Done this:

01. Choose Bulbasaur!
02. Get Pokédex!
03. Go Catch a Pidgey or Rattata!
04. Transfer Bulbasaur to Pokémon Stadium!
05. Restart Pokémon Blue!
06. Choose Charmander!
07. Get Pokédex!
08. Go Catch a Pidgey or Rattata!
09. Transfer Charmander to Pokémon Stadium!
10. Restart Pokémon Blue!
11. Choose Squirtle!
12. Get Pokédex!
13. Transfer Bulbasaur and Charmander back to Pokémon Blue!

So thats how I got all three starters!
