Has anyone ever raised an Unown for online battles? If so, please post your set...

Unowns would be reallly difficult. I would just IV breed, max sp.att and then concentrate the other EVs on whichever IVs are highest. Seeing as hidden power is its only move, you'rwe gonna want something with coverage.

What coverage? I don't even understand this thread. Unown has only one move-Hidden Power. It cannot learn anything else, & it's stats are atrocious for a poke with only one move. These attributes combined makes it NU. Not even good enough for UU. So there is no compettitive Unown sets, as there is only one EV pread to use: 252 SP.ATK, 252 SPD. Natures, Modest or Timid.

Commpetitive NU, he still has issues. Just hope & pray for a good Hidded Power.

This thread is pretty pointless, as even you know the answer. You know that there is no compettitive sets for Unown out there.

Oh, & Gofre, Unown can't breed, making it more useless. It's soul purpose in life is to simultaneously give ATK/SP.ATK EVs.

there should be a LNU... literally never used.

some NUs are usable and you just don't know it.

(Like Sunflora...)

As said, he knows that there is no sets for Unown out there. It has one move, & one move only. To ask people to post their sets is useless, & quite possibly spammy, but that's for the mods to decide.

I had to. ;o

The best HP is most likely Ice for coverage. It's fun to switch into EQ and annoy Ground types, especially if they're Choiced into it.

That was the cheesiest match I ever read. The Groudon user must have been seriously inexperienced.

All you can do to it is Choice Specs it. Its too slow & too fragile for anything else. & too weak offensively for Sash.

All it can do is switch into ground types that has been Sashed. Wohoo.

Inexperienced how? He did everything a decent Ubers player would have done. He just had bad luck and I thought I'd post it because it was funny to see Unown survive a SD Groudon Rock Slide. And the Unown... You need to focus. was the best.

Really? A poke wit base 48 DEF can survive a base 150 ATK that's been doubled with Swords Dance? Then, a poke with base 72 SP.ATK can do that much damage? Which is why I guessed he was inexperienced, or it was a fraud match.

EIT: Whoops, 3rd gen. Meaning it was base 72 ATK against Base 140 DEF. Even with Super effective hits, it shouldn't have done such damage.

Maybe it was bulky SD sweeper vs. bulky Unown? I dunno. It probably had some Spd since it didn't have Salac, and a little less than max HP, the rest in Attk. Unown needed to have max or near max HP for that to work, but it's in Ubers so that was probably the case. It wasn't outspeeding much anyways.

Look, these are it's stats:

HP:48
ATK:72
DEF:48
SP.ATK:72
SP.DEF:48
SPD:48

No matter how buly you make it, without the aid of Focus Sash, it will never, EVER survive a Swords Danced Groudon. Even if Groudon has No EV's or IVs in ATK, & Unown had full EVs & IVs in Defense.

loling at this thread. Seriously, here is your "competitive" unown:

Unown @ Choice Specs
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Spd / 252 SAtk
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- L
- O
- L

There you go. What else can it do? Nothing...really, howm uch common sense does it take to figure that out? O_o The item and HP Type are debatable, but this should be obvious...

THANK YOU. This is more of a spammish thread, as even he knows that. He knew Unown only has one move, & stats so bad Samson had to make a new class for it. LNU. Perfect.

This thread has perfectly formed; I knew that Sims here would go nuts at the thought of Unown being used online...Hahahaha.

So you basically made a spammy thread on purpose. I don't care what you have against me for whatever reasons. Thats no reason at all to make a spam thread, then spam it with personal remarks.

I don't have anything against you. Anyway, this thread was made to find out if ANYONE used an Unown, and how.

But you can only use unown one way :/ How much common sense does it take to figure that out? X_x

When I made this thread, I was under the impression that Unown would use TMs. However, I was proven wrong after a trip to Flame-ahem, Marriland.

Hmm. Really. This post says otherwise. & That sig you had while I was banned said something else as well.

But outside of that, as Anti said, you know that there is only one way to use Unown. And you know that no one uses Unown.

Gosh, someone is being observent...I guess PC doesn't do IP bans. Besides, they're easy to get past...

Also, I don't know that nobody uses Unown, since I have not battled every single person who owns a 2nd+ Generation Pokemon game.

As I said, I don't know what your problem is against me for whatever the reason, but making spammy threads is just pointless.
