I call it Haxbat out of how annoying and haxist it is.

Really? Becuase whenever i use PBR wifi Jynx pwns...i guess that's probably why.

I didnt like trapbat so i decided to do something else with it. Even if there's sleep clause you can still flinch the hell out of it. It's a faster poke to use then togekiss though togekiss is tankier and has serene grace. But i'm just a big fan of crobat ^-^

Just don't use it. Seriously, it isn't going to work. Hypnosis is cool, watch sleep talker come in, or just sleep clause can screw you over.

So any decent battler will just use this against you, and all this crobat would really be is a waste of a team slot. And possibly a death sentence for your team.

All I can think of at the moment that can screw that crobat up badly.

taunt makes physical walls angreh, preventing donphan and the bunch from setting spikes/stealth rock and blissey from paralyzing/recovering its hp. u-turn helps you predict a switch and bring in a perfect counter.

Well that's a really big let-down...to be honest that post actually depresses me a bit =(

It doesn't fail anyways as a sleep inducer, you just have to be smart using it. I always never used it until my opponent was unprepared and then I just really screwed them over. You just have to be smart, especially since crobat isn't especially bulky.

Crobat isn't really a very good hazer...it isn't bulky enough. Really, the only thing I've found crobat for is a surprise sleep in the late game or a CBer. But they kind of ruined that this gen...

EDIT: Hypnosis has to be played smartly to work on crobat...

No im smart when i use, i ALWAYS confuse ray before hypnosis because hypnosis doesnt always hit. I like confuse ray because there isnt a clause (maybe sept status clause) that stops confuse ray. I usually swich it out for Bronzong or if he's on my team Steelix if i know he's boned...

Ariados, Banette, Drowzee, Honchkrow, Hoothoot, Hypno, Murkrow, Noctowl, Shuppet, Spinarak.

As for Early Bird..

Dodrio, Doduo, Girafarig, Houndoom, Houndour, Kangaskhan, Ledian, Ledyba, Natu, Nuzleaf, Shiftry, Xatu.

Seems quite a bit, but still something to watch out for.

And don't say "It's not going to happen because some of these pokemon are UUs or NUs"

I say, like every time "It's best to come prepared for the unexpected"

You aren't understanding what I'm saying. You realise that confuse ray is only guarenteeing a switch, right? So then what, you put the incoming pokemon to sleep, it switches to activate sleep clause...and that's it. then crobat becomes useless.

I mean using it with perfect timing, and there often aren't these situations, probably why I don't like hypnosis on crobat. There are pokemon that are better sleep inducers anyways...jumpluff, milotic...gengar...

You could always go with Hypnosis Driftblim.
