Hi guys, ever since I got back into Pokemon I've been itching to create a team and actually battle a human player. Pokemon isn't exactly the most popular thing where I live, so the ability to net battle really has me excited to test my pokemon breeding and training abilities.

Listed here is my first attempt since GSC to compile a pokemon team. Please help me identify some major flaws and correct said errors.

Tyranitar @ Expert Belt
Ability: Sand Stream
Nature: Adamant
EV: Need help with where to allocate them (especially speed)
- Dragon Dance
- Earthquake
- Crunch
- Stone Edge

Roserade @ Choice Specs
Ability: Natural Cure
Nature: Timid
EV: 4 HP / 252 SpAttk / 252 Spd
- Energy Ball
- Shadow Ball
- Weather Ball
- Sludge Bomb

(Special Sweeper)

Spiritomb @ Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
Nature: Bold
EV: Not sure here, either
- Pain Split
- Will 'o Wisp
- Dark Pulse
- Taunt

(Annoyer)

Umbreon @ Nothing
Ability: Synchronize
Nature: Careful
EV: 252 HP / 128 Def / 128 SpDef
- Covet
- Mean Look
- Yawn
- Baton Pass

(Special Wall, though I would also like him/her to mess up an opponent wall.)

Gallade @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Steadfast
Nature: Adamant
EV: 4 HP / 252 Attk / 252 Spd (How much do I really need to outrun important pokemon?)
- Psycho Cut
- Night Slash
- Leaf Blade
- Close Combat

(Physical Sweeper)

Skarmory @ Shed Shell
Ability: Keen Eye
Nature: Impish
EV: 252 HP / (Should the rest be split into attack and defense?)
- Drill Peck
- Whirlwind
- Stealth Rock
- Roost

(Good old physical wall, psuedohazer, and stealth rocker.)

Hmm, I just noticed I have no ice moves on my team. Dragons would probably trample all over this team. Maybe I should switch out Umbreon for Vaporeon and give it ice beam or just switch out Gallade for a standard Weavile.

Tyranitar @ Leftovers
Ability: Sand Stream
Nature: Jolly
EV: 252 speed / 252 att / 6 hp
- Dragon Dance
- Earthquake
- Crunch
- Taunt

Taunt makes skarmory and things that try and phaze you mere set up fodder, also prevents status problems.

Jolly lets it outrun max speed Azelf and Starmie after one Dragon Dance.

Crunch and Earthquake have superior type coverage.

Leftovers lets it dragon dance repeatedly

Roserade @ Choice Specs
Ability: Natural Cure
Nature: Timid
EV: 4 HP / 252 SpAttk / 252 Spd
- Weather Ball / Hidden power Fire
- Shadow Ball
- Leaf Storm
- Sludge Bomb

This needs leaf storm to really inflict major damage. weather ball looks good with sandstream or Hidden power fire for coverage

Spiritomb @ Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
Nature: Careful
EV: 252 HP / 144 ATT / 112 sp.def
- Pain Split
- Will 'o Wisp
- Sucker Punch ./ Taunt
- Pursuit / Taunt

This is a dual wall, Annoyers fail

Sucker punch if your good at predicting.

Pursuit hits fleeing pokemon

Taunt prevents you from becoming set up fodder.

Umbreon @ Leftovers
Ability: Synchronize
Nature: Careful
EV: 252 HP / 252 SP.DEF / 6 HP
- Wish
- Payback / Toxic
- Curse / Toxic
- Protect / Baton Pass

Curse and payback make its attack somewhat good.

Wish Keeps you alive

Protect allows you to activate wish and stall with toxic if you choose that.

Baton Pass allows you to pass wish and curse if you want to

Gallade @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Steadfast
Nature: Adamant
EV: 4 HP / 252 Attk / 252 Spd (How much do I really need to outrun important pokemon?)
- Psycho Cut
- Night Slash
- Leaf Blade
- Close Combat

Dont use Gallade for this please, Gallade is a tank and not a good scarf user.

Medicham@Choice Scarf
Adamant Nature
252 ATT / 252 SPEED / 6 HP
- Hi Jump Kick / Brick Break
- Thunderpunch
- Ice Punch
- Psycho Cut

Much better, due to pure power, same typing and does the scarf job much better.

Skarmory @ Shed Shell
Ability: Keen Eye
Nature: Impish
EV: 252 HP / 60 att / 196 def
- Brave Bird
- Whirlwind
- Stealth Rock
- Roost

Brave Bird >> Drill Peck, Brave Bird is your only hope of actually doing damage when called for and your only hope against bulky gyarados.

There ya go. changes are in bold.

You may not want weavile like you said due to then 3 of your pokemon would get hammered by fire and fighting.

Kinda Heatran weak, the only thing that can actually damage is T-tar and medicham, T-Tar gets 2hkod by Earth Power and Medicham might be able to revenge kill it, but cant switch in on Fire Blast, Flamethrower and Lava Plume.

You might want to consider a bulky water such as swampert etc. bear in mind if Heatran gets a Flash Fire boost it 2hkos Swampert Gyarados etc.with Fire Blast =/. Just be careful where your shooting will-o-wisps.
