6:Once you changed it(you don't have to save after every change),click
file,save

2:Let it load if it needs to
3:Click on an item(for example potion)
4:The price of the item is on the side(Right)
5:Change the price by typing in the price of it under NEW PRICE

Changing Descriptions(not mastered yet)
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
Ok first of all,I have not mastered this yet :/
You might also recive weird letters :/

1:Make a word script(without the lock or faceplayer and I think the release end.I havent tested that yet)
Example
#org $item
message $item
$item 1 = An item that heals exactly 20HP \nto a Pokemon.
(I'm not sure about the \n's and \p's either xP)
2:Compile and copy the offset
3:Goto Item Editor
4:Select the Item you want to chane the description
5:Double click on the description
6:Paste the offset

Note:I hope this works for you and there are little(or none) weird letters!

Screens:
Umm..Well...None yet.

I think everyone knows how to use A-Mart because its pretty straightforward and only has a few options you could do...

no offense.

I was thinking the same thing..
But it is a good tut for beginning hackers who really dont know how
to figure this out..XD
Nice work..:)

YEah, even though it is really really really easy to use, some people may be completely new to hacking and it is good for them
Nice job then!

People, think about it this way: You didn't do it, so you cannot criticise that much - DiamondDust. I wouldn't say a bad word if I were you. (I am here from Jan 2006 - ignore the date of join and still didn't have courage to criticise a tutoril which I didn't make. Of course some HELPFUL advice should do, but...).

A-Mart is nifty little program that seems like a child's play to experienced hackers, but beginners should find this guide really useful ;). Keep it up ;)

If you're using Windows Vista, I sympothise. Nothing works because of the stupid comglx32.dll not registered situation. It's a pain in the neck. Try using them on an older computer. Newer is not always better:D

This programme looks really cool. I had a mess about on it with my Ruby Rom. Sadly I'm working on hacking Leaf Green atm [just my luck!]. Is there no updated version or anything that allows it to work with LG?

Well I think it does work for LG. You need the latest version of it though.
If not, try FR.
