So I was drafting today, and this was the deck I played in this FD-FD-FD booster (sealed) draft:

6 swamps
6 mountains
5 islands

3 cranial platings
1 Qumulox
2 Cackling Imp
1 Chimeric Coils (tho I usually bring the manta in after)
1 Ferropede
2 Fleshgrafter
2 Trinket Mage
2 Volshok Sorcerer
1 Devour in Darkness
1 Magma Jet
1 Lantern of Insight
2 Myr Servitor
1 Opaline Bracers
1 Neurok Stealthsuit
1 staff of domination
1 wayfarer's bauble
1 conjurer's bauble

Okay. This deck is VERY solid. I was actually handed the two trinket mages and the Qumulox (as the guy who played blue took the counterspells over them, and also nobody else played blue), and I was highly greatful (the guy to my right played a sunburst deck and the guy to my left ate ALL OF THE WHITE CARDS). Anyway, I've noticed the MVP of this deck were the pair of Sorcerers andthe 3 platings. I noticed that due to me jacking all of the removal at first chance, there wasn't much removal. The ferropede with platings just kept going on and slapping my opponents silly (I killed Mantas with it. lol).

So cards to look for when you're playing in FD-only drafts:
REMOVAL, TAKE ALL THE REMOVAL YOU CAN GET!
Ferropedes are strangely powerful in this format
Sorcerers are super-strong (removal!!!)
Platings are to be picked over almost anything else (it's so degenerate in limited)

So I came in second in the end. The winner played mono-white (took all the white cards, absolutely killed me with the stasis cocoons...and CoP: artifacts), and it was DARN good (underdrafted colour).

My record, btw, was 3 wins, 1 lose.

btw, we lucky or something, cuz of the packs we got 2 masticores and 2 doors to nothingness (I got 1 of each!!!!), along with a doubling cube. lol

playing black-red-blue on a draft
that's awfully noble of you
most people would play green or black (never blue)

Well the good blue stuff just kinda feel on my lap (first round), so I kinda had to take them in. lol

I noticed that green and black are probably the strognest there, for sure.

it'd be hilarious if someone pulled out a bringer in the draft

Luck of the draw? 2 dawn's Reflection maindecked? I don't know. lol

I was saying luck, since I only saw that done twice the whole day (that's once without the goblet out full and once with the goblet out full).

lol not as impossible as you may think. there's a lot of support for it in FD. If it's like Mir/Ds/FD, then no. If it's all FD's, yes.

well he'd either have to play 5 color to have it effective OR he had a whole **** load of mana at that time

It ws 5 colour. The whole deck was 5 colour, mainly on green and some other colour I forgot. But yeah, he was the sunburst guy, eating up all the sunburst and mana accel cards.
